We know Triple H and Shawn were Vince's sounding board through most of the attitude era and Ruthless Aggression era, and you look closely, you can infer what ideas were the product of who. Like having Chris Benoit be the World Heavyweight Champion was probably a Triple H/Shawn brain child, while having Eugene be a regular character on Raw was probably a Vince idea... Like most billionaires, Vince isn't as smart as he would like people to think.

Booker T vs Austin was one rivalry I'm happy to watch especially the food market brawl. Austin drinking milk instead of beer & food fights is really funny to watch. In the 90's they had more food fights including movies - t.v. shows & cartoons.

I mean, the only reason Triple H has such big shoes to fill is because the last guy wore clown shoes. All he has to do is do what he's always done, come up with all the logically sound ideas for TV that Vince took credit for, and keep his hands off women who aren't his wife, pretty easy job.

Clown shoes that kept the business in the casual world. Vince as a person is garbage but he had an eye for the business. as much as we all complained during the PGera people still watched. Vince if anything kept it in line in a never ending cycle.

@@iammaximumstupied The only reason people watched the PG era is because there was literally no other choices at the time. ROH was in it's era of terminal decline after the Sinclair deal, TNA was basically dead, and NJPW was still pretty inaccessible in the states. Celebrating that fact for Vince is like celebrating another landslide election victory for Kim Jong Un in North Korea

Fully agree with both of you. DDP and Saturn were both completely buried by awful storylines in WWE. Intentional/conscious or not, there's no denying that happened.

@Adam1984_ Booker T was even buried a little bit, at the beginning of his WWE run, with the famous "Who are you?" comment from The Rock. I was disappointed with what they did with Sting too. You finally get one of the biggest stars ever in the business to sign on and jobbing to Triple H was the best thing they could come up with.

I will believe to my dying day that DDP got intentionally buried. I don't know when they made the decision, but they took someone capable of drawing enormous heat and just buried the hell out of him to the point where getting squashed was like a mercy killing. The rest I can chalk up to bad creative, but not that.

I bought the Elite edition really hoping for a great game. It had promise. The games' longevity probably depended on you playing with friends in the living room like the good ole days, which most people dont. Everyone plays online these days and their servers apparently sucked. If you play by yourself, the game is good for like 40mins, if that. It was criminal to charge $100 for the elite edition that was literally unplayable for ps4 on day 1, with barely any make good and STILL charge an absurd amount of money for the DLC packs. They DO NOT need to make another game
