This is my first time getting a helmet for skating, is the thick sweat saving pad worth it? (It doesnt get very hot where I live) it it better for it to fit snug or should i get the slightly cheaper helmet that has much thinner pads

This thing is not certified. Selling it as a helmet for an action sport is reckless.

Yes it is. Actually it’s Dual Certified: Complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standard for Bicycle Helmets for Persons Age 5 and Older and ASTM F-1492 Skate safety standards.
