Footage looks great! Looking at using a set of Orions for a shoot coming up. With the Metabones PL > E(was yours standard or did you use the speed booster), did you run into any issues with vignetting or having to crop? How did you monitor -- Just with an atamos?

Hi Mate The orions are great. I used the 1.6 extender from Atlas. With extender you don’t have any vignetting but a slight loss of quality and also less light because every additional lens element reduces the effective light that hits your sensor. You can use it also without the extender but than you don‘t have the possibility to reframe because the vignetting. If you shoot on a 16:9 sensor you have to crop quite a bit from the side so it isn‘t true 4k anymore but it still looks amazing. =) Yes i used the ninja V+ and an external 15inch monitor for the focus puller. I belive on instagram i have a short BTS reel feel free to watch it.✌🏼 @mandis.productions

Good day. Please tell me which adapter do I need to install atlas orion pl on sony fx6? And will everything work correctly?

Hi Mate, i use the e mount to pl mount adapter from wooden camera. It works fine like this. Because you shoot with a 16:9 sensor you will get some vignetting on the sides which you have to crop anyway. So it doesn’t really matter. Sometimes i use also the 1.5x adapter from atlas additional to the one from wooden camera. This way you get a slight longer focal lenght and no vignetting. Hope this helps you👍🏼

beautiful work! What adapter did you use for the camera? and did you deal with any vignetting with the 2X squeeze?

Thank you a lot man🙏🏼 I used the e mount to pl adapter from wooden camera and the LF 1.6x extender from Atlas it self. Because of the extender there is no issue with vignetting at all. But you have to crop quite a bit because of the 16:9 aspect ratio from the fx6. 😅 The only problem is when you use this atlas lenses by -13 degree at some point the focus getting really strong to turn..😂 ✌🏼
