I have not spent a lot of time on triggers, but after this video i booted up my Autel MP408 and discovered that i got similar trigger options hidden in the menus as well, guess next week i am playing with trigger settings. Thanks, shows you that there is always something more to learn.

Instead of pulsewidth and setting a time limit for the trigger, it sure would be cool if there were a duty cycle trigger option! Once it stays low for 25% of the time, draw the waveform here. This is a cool feature that Pico can definitely build on!

If you mean variable valve timing. Then yes it has VVT on the intake cam only

The vvt system was not commanded to work. Not much need for it to operate while the car is in park and raising the RPM a little bit.
