This is the 4th time recently you've released a video explaining how to do what I'm thinking
It is one of the most difficult exercise that i have ever had after switching lunges and in and out exercises, it is more challenging and Gymnastic Rings shows me another level of workout in my calisthenics journey. Thank you bro for train us and thank you for your free videos here. God bless you
I just want you to know that I always watch your videos and have been fan of you and your channel for soo long Daniel! Keep doing these informative videos! It would also be nice if you could show us your workout routines, I know you love to keep your videos in a certain informative way but to grow more I think you could go a little out of your comfortable zone. Keep grinding bro!
Hey, great video! I've been doing this exercise for about a year now. Results are amazing.

thank you for just stating the exercise in like the 1st 6s of the video
Thanks for the video it will help me a lot
First. 🔥🔥
Hope this will get me the muscle up finally
Just did these as part of the body by rings series... major ab workout too I used to be a gymnast.... I scaled up the Body by Rings... thought it was going to be too easy... Was so excited that I was wrong. My Abs are sore ... deep within... as is my entire upper body. I don't think I'll be going back to weights again for upper body :P. Thanks Daniel - master of calisthenics :P Your workouts take me back to Building the Gymnastics body by Coach Sommer... the beginning(his new website is ehh)
Arnold used to do these on the barbell rack. And so did Lee priest. Excellent exercise and very underrated
thank you
5:31 when you finally complete your sets
I found that keeping tension on the triceps and engaging the anterior deltoids as little as possible is facilitated by engaging your lats. It helps you to avoid pushing up like an overhead press and perform more of a tricep extension. Though I realize that with rings it’s less of an issue, more important with a stationary anchor like a wall, table, or bar.
it's a marathon ,not a sprint. wow :D , great video!
Very good
Nice
I use to do these a lot when I first got rings. The problem I had was my core couldn't stay tight enough for the harder progressions.
nice tips ofcourse but surely a very nice haircut. Im curious about your hair products.
Lovin' the haircut
Thanks
Thanks I'm thinking about going to the rings, from what I see they looks like they really isolate muscle groups.
Always with great information! Can I ask you one thing, Daniel? Where did you get those rings ropes with numbers? It looks really helpfull for setting the rings!!
It seems using rings has the best of both worlds with a tricep extension. It has the deep stretch, and also has the most tension in the extended position, due to gravity on your body angle now being an added factor, over cable machines for example.
Massive triceps!
Good tips! Check yourself before you wreck yourself!
Hey Daniel, thanks for the great tutorial. What should be the scapular position in this exercise?
I do this exercise, and yep it really gets that tricep.. I thought these were called skull crushers but anyways I like these videos
Man the gap between your new york canvas is making me die a little every time i see it. :D
I put 3 fr long steel pipe in between two patio chairs. Get on my knees with a pillow. Over hand grip the bar. And I stretch all the way until my nose touches ground. And back up. It hits that hard to hit area of triceps right underneath the rear delts. That flabby part. For me at least. Best workout.
Can you help me? First, Congratulations FitnessFAQs! Great video. I've been cured of shoulder injury because of your tips (active/passive hang, mobility work, etc), but my triceps are still with a bit of pain after my push workout. Maybe I'm not stretching enough? I've noticed that they hurt close to where they attach to the elbow. If you have any advice, it would be great, thanks!!
Next video traps mass builder please!
My triceps are numb, cool, i liked it
Thanks for this.. plz tell how to reduce knee pain.. i got this on my right side of the patella of the right leg... and every time i sit for long the pain is there
This looks more like a skull crusher than just tricep extensions. This would be a good thing, actually.
Daniel how often do you cut your hair? It's always fresh!

RENALDAS Maybe is because your tricep's head attached to your elbow is too weak. You need to increase the basic strenght of your legaments near your elbow. But if you cant do that exercise with the easiest way i dont know...

Mr. Potato head yeah Ive been killing it on a daily almost to be honest. way more horizontal position than most people do. tried it now after like 6 months and still not good.
Loved the tricep extension from BBR series, however ended up with serious pains in my elbows when doing this or ring dips. Stop doing doing the exercise goes away, start doing it again comes back!!!! So annoying as they are two of my fav exercises 😠 peace ✌️

Do connective tissue work for the elbows, i.e cable or dumbell tricep extensions for high reps, low weights. At least that's what Alpha Destiny would say, check out his channel (i've never had long term elbow pain but I always make sure I warm up thoroughly with light weight extensions before heavier extension work).

Defiantly nothing to do with my form, or lack of warm up. Think the connective tissue may be the issue. Will try the high reps lighter intensity on cable for a while see how I get on 👍
How many exercises did you do or do you do for example when you are training push/pull? And the frequency of the workouts? THANKS IN ADVANCE
Pls put captions bro🤗🤗🤗

thanks Daniel for the exercise and info, but I got one question. Does this apply to a fixed bar as well? or let's say doing it on a something other than gymnastic rings.
@norestjoel
Жыл бұрын
Idk
What do you think of using one ring with a "hammer " grip?
I gave up bodyweight tricep extensions, tricep pushdowns are a lot better imo, weights and machines are king when it comes to isolation
can you do this exercise with a bar instead of rings?
I did these bad boys on t rexes and drop setted them. Starting lower, going higher, and going max effort on pretty much every rep. The pump was insane AND I felt like a dragon ball character
Not sure why I'm watching this nc my triceps are huge from dips and front levers and I-sits and handstands and overhead presses.
If someone is doing the Recommended Routine, when can we include this workout during the workout? I mean should we do it before Push-up/Rows or after?
What do you think about the skull crusher variation that Dustin Myer has a video on , where the hands go further behind the head and the forearms supinate? Is that a good progression to work to ?
Could I do this with one of those door frame pull up bars instead of rings?
should I lean forward when I do it at a dip bar?
How u made cobra neck make video
When I do tricep extensions on the rings for some reason I have a huge activication of my back.. While been able to comfortably do it on the bar at very low height on rings I feel my back does all the work :/ Any tips?
What about impossible dips? :D
