The car has pushes in the third gear. What's the fault? What can I do? Is it transmision oil problem? Or more?

Samson Yaulashvili not sure, but an oil change is a good and cheap try for solving the problem before going the expensive route of overhauling the transmission.

Hey, I have mazda tribute lx v6 2002, last week I changed the transmission pan gasket, the mechanic told me that he added more fluid to recompinsate the fluid that it had lost due the leak. Yesterday while going uphill something started to clink and it lost power, I had to shift down to gear 1 to maintain power and to make it stop clinking. On the same hill before changing the pan gasket the car was able to go up on Drive easily with no problem. Do you thing that the problem is the transmission fluid level or something different? The car has around 100k miles not much for a 2002 car. Opinion please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

If your transmission is pretty torn up changing that fluid will take out all the bits and shards of metal that actually help it bite and continue to run unfortunately it means your trannys probably shot

Okay I just saw how long ago you asked this question my bad

Need to know after i replaced the transmission pan gasket and not all of the fluid xame out but the measuring stick still reads normal what do i do? Do i have to put more in and if so how much?

HELLIHIGH: Hi, if the measuring stick indicates full (cold or hot), don’t add any more fluid.

@@manflaco im sure it needs some tho cuz when i took the tranny pan off it drained about 2 quarts i havent started it yet cuz of this dilema and i dont have the right engine coolant to top off what came out of my radiator.

I dont want to start it if the fluids arent correct ya know.plus does it matter at all if i just use regular transmission fluid or does it absolutely need a specific kind

HELLIHIGH I always use Motorcraft Mercon V or better. Go ahead and start the engine. That way the transmission pump will normalize the fluid level and then you can take a good measurement of the fluid. I’m talking of about 10 seconds.

Joon kinloch Hi: I bought it used for my daughter back in 2003. It is a 2001 model and right now it has 145k miles. Been a good investment, taking into consideration that I personally do all its maintenance. This V6 engine is a Ford german-made unit. Very reliable. At one point I bought 5 Ford Escape units for my business (same thing mechanically as the Mazda), and 4 are still running. One was totaled on a accident.

If you mean "liters", do two 3.79L frushes for a total of 7.57L
