Thanks Lisa. Excited about the new building and I am hoping someday there will be group opportunities from CA shop to the retreat center.
I LOVE the idea of using an old towel to save your pressing surface! If you are going to use this much spray starch please use a mask. If you can smell it you know you are breathing in small starch droplets. I have asthma so I always use a liquid starch or Terial Magic in a bowl, soak the fabric, squeeze it out and hang until damp. Then I iron them to dry them completely. You can reuse any starch left in the bowl so no starch is wasted
Thanks for the cool kit and the information.

@@lisabongean139 you bet. I am so proud of you and hope to see many more educational (to me, even tho I have been quilting a long time) videos. I have the same iron and that sucker really puts out some steam, lol.
Why spray starch and not liquid starch???
Looks like a fabulous kit
You do a starch 's lasagna!! Lol!! I learned a lot with flannel and that product. Thanks
Love this quilt! Will you be getting any more kits in stock?
Great Video! I do have a question about the starching because I'm always afraid to pre-starch the pre-cuts because they might be too small for the the pattern requirements. Am I worried about nothing?
Hi, do you let the fabric cool first before you remove the paper ?
😊
What do you do with dark fabric that the starch puddling?
Doesn't the tip of your index finger get sore? I have arthritis and that looks painful to me.
Did you use one can of starch on this fabric? Robin
Do you starch cotton fabric too? Really enjoyed the video. I just might give flannel a whirl.
