I have watched this video twice. Joann is a very good teacher. I enjoyed her teaching because she is slow, thorough, I was able to follow along and understand why she does the extra steps she does. And last of all she is very humble and sweet.
Joanne was a delight and the quilt is so beautiful.
I did not realize you are right in my backyard. I will have to make a sit and stitch soon. I’ve been watching and learning a lot lately.
I love listening to old people talk and teach me. I am so very glad Primitive Gatherings gave this sweet lady the time she needed to explain her method of epp. Not rushing her. Watching this video was to me very much worth my time.
I agree, glueing makes it harder for me too. The glue makes it hard to sew the pieces together. I’ll continue to thread baste.❤️❤️. Lovely, inspirational woman.
Thank you Joanne and Lisa. Joanne is a very good teacher. I took a class from her at the PG retreat house years ago. Very nice.
Joanne is so cute
Wonderful video. I learned many new ideas. I’m in the middle of a grandmother’s flower garden quilt.
Sorry I found this a bit confusing. It's good to see a professional willing to learn new things😁. I will look for instructions on KZread. Only five glue sticks that sounds brilliant!!! I have chronic back problems and use the wool ironing pad too. Do I understand that the lady used to machine quilt and because of her back pain changed to English Paper Piecing? I tried machine quilting for a very short time and my pain was too much. I find EPP very relaxing. Stay safe all🤗
Thank you for teaching us today! Joanne & Lisa appear to genuinely enjoy each other’s company and quilting knowledge!
I love learning new and different ways of doing thing. Thank you Joanne and Lisa.
I love to EPP. I just recently discovered this technique. My fur baby does not like me sewing at my machine for very long so I can do my EPP piecing with him beside me and we both are happy.
Wonderful video ladies! I ordered the kit after watching your presentation! Can’t wait for it to arrive. Anxious to see Joanne’s trunksow.
This has been a real treat. Thank you ladies for a great lesson and cannot wait to see Ms. Joannes other EPP projects. I look forward to learning the flat back stitch method. Hugs & Blessings
Very thorough video. Thank you Joanne!
'Thank you Joanne and Lisa for this great video
I also tape my pieces together on the right side with medical paper tape before flat back stitching. Holds the pieces in place and it’s not sticky.
Joanne is precious!
please tell to joanne i saw her video teaching her work. i am in mexico city i loved it
Thank you for such a great lesson today! Joanne you are the cutest!💗 Lisa thank you for always inspiring us!💗
Beautiful quilt! EPP is very time consuming but I love it!!!
Beautiful work! Wow, only 10 weeks! I’d still be cutting things out at that amount of time!
Thanks for this video! I’m excited to get my pattern, papers, and templates. Like Joanne I prefer to baste, I wasn’t very good at gluing and like she said my fabric frayed more 💜
Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much.
I got thrifty with the glue and used only what I needed, that help with the fabric not fraying when I removed the papers.
Wonderful.
Loved this tutorial with both of your explanations, they really were helpful. When do you remove the papers, do you wait and remove them all at once,or in different sections?
Love it
Wonderful! Thx so much!
Beautiful.
Just wish l could see more
❤️❤️
How many papers come in the kit?
Is this block still available to download for free?. New to epp and this looks like a good starter piece.
