Over the years, I have acquired each of the tools that Lisa presents in this video. They truly make a difference for me. The needles are the best I have used of each type. The stem rulers sped up my stem cutting. I took my copy of the guide book to have a spiral binding put on it, which is easier for me to use. I LOVE the Valdani threads most of all! And thank goodness for the smaller book to keep track of the threads that I have. I don’t order duplicates any more. Got my thread bowl in the 2019 holiday box. I keep a basket with my bowl, small scissors, different needle tubes, marking pens that I can carry to where I am stitching, along with my stitching pillow. I have learned so much from Lisa that has improved my stitching and made my hobby that much more enjoyable. Thank you, Lisa!
So glad to see all the tools you use. I have a lot of them, but have to get one of those thread bowls.
These tools make is SOOOOO easy to get over any challenges with wool applique. I definitely would recommend the book to anyone, it is great. Hey let all those wanting stocking ideas to get the needles, pens - you can never have too many
I love your needles, I use them all the time. Thanks for all the tips they are great.
Thanks for sharing. The tips you shared are invaluable for the beginner and seasoned stitcher too!

What can I say "AWESOME VIDEO" ... and I use most of these tools and don't forget the book, everything you need to know about wool applique!
Thanks Lisa for the wonderful video. Just getting in to wool and will be putting several of these (especially the book) on my wishlist. 😊
I think it’s AWESOME that you are making these videos! What a wonderful resource, and Of Course I have almost all your tools... I need to try the new fusible web & the pins. Thanks for always sharing!!
Thank you for showing these essential tools. I have some but need more!
I didn’t believe a needle could make such a difference until I tried the binding needles - they are wondeful!
so many good tools - the needles are the best (cuz they don't break) - if only there was a needle that would not get lost when you drop it! (my ex-husband would ALWAYS find them when they poked his feet LOL). Love the thread bowl, the rulers and the feather light fusible. Thanks for putting it onsale - I ordered a whole bolt!
Watched part of it, was interrupted. Watched again. So much to learn. Thanks Lisa.
Love your book and I don't use any other needles but yours. You know how much I love your creativity! Jonnie Nottingham
Great video! Love all the products you mention, but the one that I didn't have is the embroidery template set! Thank you!
I love using all the needles you've listed. In fact all that you talk about on this video I use. Wonderful!

Thank you for doing this video. I have a few of them but still need to branch out more.
These tips are great. Thanks for the tip on the Clover chalk pen!
My favorite needle is the binding needle. I have shared mine and gotten several friends hooked on them as well. It is essential to have all the essential tools. LOL

It is great to see and hear all of your tricks on the best tools!
Great video on tools! I have many of them but learned new ways to use them!
I've been a fan of Primitive Gatherings for many years and I have most of the tools you have suggested. Everything I know about wool applique, I learned from you throughout the years. (I guess I can "blame you" for my addiction.) My favorite "tool" would be your needle collection. Looking forward to many more years of learning from you. Thank you!
I broke my little thread bowl from last years Christmas box. I can’t believe I dropped it, it was one of my FAVORITE things!
I NEED the book & so much more! I have only just started wool applique and that is all thanks to your awesome blog. I need to check out more of your KZread videos too! I just received my first order from your shop & I can't wait to open it for Christmas!

Love all of the Primitive Gatherings needles. They are the only needles I use!
I partially like the white marking pen with the liquid chalk and the chenille 24 needles.
This is an excellent video. I learned so much about the tools I need for wool applique, and to discover that I have some of them in my toolbox already. Now I can make a list of what I still need to purchase. Thank you for the thorough explanation of all of these tools.

Your book has great photos and words that makes it so there aren't any questions on how its done. Kuddos to you and your helpets.
Ahhhmazing!! I'm such a fan of all things Primitive Gatherings! I get lots of compliments on my projects and I have to credit Lisa and her team for all of it. I've never been disappointed by a PG project, pattern, book, fabric, etc. I bet I could walk into her shop with my eyes closed and choose a project - I'm a years long customer! My favorite events are the Summer BOWs and the Christmas events - and now we have her fantastic videos too. Thank you everyone at Primitive Gatherings for always exceeding expectations and inspiring my love of all things creative!!
Thanks for the marking pen information! I love all of your needful things
I love all of Lisa’s needles. I have tubes of 24 chenille in the car, RV, sewing room, and by the chair where I hand sew. I just bought a box of magic pins and love them as well.
Thanks. Great ideas for my stocking!
Thanks so much for this video... I liked all of the great information but especially the info on the needles. I finally understand how the embellishment needles can help and why I have been struggling with the wimpy wire in my needle threaders that keep breaking. So back to my Primitive Gatherings wish list - lots more things to add.
Love this video and especially like the Crazy Quilt Stitch guides....they will make it so much easier and more consistent.....Thanks Lisa!
Thank you Lisa for this video, the explanation of each item was perfect. Love your videos, I viewed many on Facebook, glad to see they are now available here.
Been following you for years and had the opportunity to visit your store in California while at last year’s Road To California quilt show. Love the book and used it when I appliquéd my reindeer pillow but it looks like I need a few of the other tools you mentioned. 😉. Thanks for sharing how you use the tools.
I'll need some of that Valdani thread. I have been making do with floss - but I think it's time for additional Valdani threads! Also love that iron with all the steam vents! I'll put that on my birthday list. Thanks for an informative video!
Thank you for the tip on the Clover chalk pen. I was having trouble getting it to work and thought it was dried up.
Love using all of your products recommendations! Helps me to be successful!
I have not used any of these products: the binding pin, magic pins, fusible, scissors, thread, template, bowl, or the book. All these look amazing and even I might be successful.
Love your book! It has helped this Wool newbie so much in learning about using wool in my projects!
Great video Lisa! I use all your tools fir wool applique. Live all of them. Now I see I "Need" a pressing station( that would be a dream) and a larger wool mat!! Merry Christmas.
This video is great and I love your Wool, Needle & Thread book. I can't wait to get my needed supplies.
Great video, especially the part about the fusible web and the fray check.
Fantastic video on all the things I want to add to this newbies sewing area!
I am just finishing up your Old St. Nick table mat. I actually have to fray check the edges of the backing and then blanket stitch around the edge. I am a wool convert! It was so much fun to make this and a lot easier than I expected. I bought your Wool, Needle and Thread book and it was very helpful! I look forward to watching this video tonight to pick up some more tips. I bought last years Christmas wool box and life got in the way of doing those projects. I can't wait to work on those now!! I used the #24 needles and I've also used the binding needles - they are fantastic!
I have used your book several times. It’s a great reference book. I have just started using your binding needles and have used your chenille needles for some time. I also purchased the Clover white marker based on your recommendation. I keep watching and learning. Can’t wait for quilt shows to resume, miss shopping in person. Thanks for your needful things list.

Love the clover marking pen!
Let’s see...have the book, wool mat, needles, tons of Valdani, stem rulers, markers, small rotary cutter, fusible web. Do you think I’m hooked? LOL! Need some Dovo and that Rowenta. Darn, should have put it on my Christmas list. Hmm, birthday is in March!
Love the binding needles! Thank you for sharing.
Your book was a game-changer for me!
I now have 2 of these great books! I thought I had lost it ,so ordered another, then found my original book! So now I keep one at our cottage! I ❤️ your needles, but need to get more. I find wool appliqué to be relaxing, and fulfilling!
Thanks for sharing with us!
I always used the same needles to do everything, until Lisa introduced me to her different needles. Now that is all I use. Binding needles are the very best!
I love having some hand applique ready to go for car rides, vacations, etc, and Primitive Gathering needles are THE best, because the pkg tells me what its for. I tend to get lost in needles, which is for what, hand sewing, & machine. She makes it so i dont have to remember what is for what! Live it!
Love my wool appliqué stitching book!!
Your appliqué needles are the best!
I have all the items of the favorite essentials and I can't tell you how they've help me go to the next level of hand work. The major game changer for me was the iron, I can't work without it! I've grown so much by watch Lisa and her videos, so thankful for you Lisa and your wonderful staff. I do miss seeing everyone at the quilt shows!!
Love your needles! I love they are alittle shorter and give you more control in your hand!

I'm so excited to start wool applique!
I appreciate the list of favorite tools! I am adding a few to my wish list.
I love your essentials tools. Its amazing how many I have but there are a few more I want to buy. Maybe some day I will get the steam station.
Just received some chenille needles as gift and I love them!
Love all these tools!! I have most of them and they help immensely! Phyllis
Her wool applique technique is superb- the detail in craftsmanship makes all the difference. I bought the book and followed along even though i have sewn different things for 50 years. This book made a HUGE difference in my finished project. I am eager to try some more of the different needles - the right equipment makes wool applique so pleasurable! I agree with the remarks about the steam a seam-makes my needle gummy. Thank you for this instruction!!
I love your book, Wool, Needle & Thread and have recommended it numerous times. I also love your binding needles and wool applique needles. Your advice on the essentials are great. I have to try some of the others you've recommended. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great info & tools! Thank you!
Love your binding and embellishing needles and the Magic pins!
I recently tried the heat and bond feather lite. It is wonderful. Love it. Also the binding needles are such a help. Both of these help so much. Thank you Lisa for great needles and great instructions♥️
