Jack: "Is this supposed to show our courage and strength? A rat's tail?" Bahamut: This will become a great meme in this franchise.

The reason why the Warrior of Light was defeated is that Jack just knocked down the other three and the Warrior does not have enough level to fight him 1 vs 1. In Final Fantasy, it's 4 vs 1.

For the second half of the fight he did pretty decent for solo but yeah he was not strong enough to beat him solo

Pretty much a representation of going to that dungeon at lvl 5 xDD

Kinda bummer that they don't let us play as Garland and he just reverts back to Jack for the WoL fight. I hope we will get to play as Garland eventually and maybe even Chaos in the last dlc.

@@georgehouliaras7239 u got the job actually, but i think buff doesn't go for the job, and instead go for the jobs he already used to, in this case, dragoon, and white mage, but u could use tsunami, blaze, and the other elemental spells and there's a specific job for it i think it's called cyclic warrior

That's been a thing long before FF14. That's why the one game had the Warriors of Dark, because in their world, the Light was too overwhelming and they had to fight it with Darkness. And then later in that world, the Darkness became overwhelming, so then Warriors of Light arrived to fix that then

As Freelancer said, that's been a running thing since FFIII.

whoever decided to make us play as Jack instead of Garland for this dlc needs to be fired, how can something so obvious fly above their heads.

So my theory, Wanderer of the Rift highly likely means Gilgamesh, so it will probably involve Gilgamesh showing up during one of the cycles to challenge Jack (picture the door opening, but instead of the WoL, it's Gilgamesh). As for Different Futures, I would suspect that will have something to do with the final loop. Maybe we play through on the WoL side and see them finally defeat Jack (in a true retelling of FF1).

That would be basically FF1 remake using the same engine and assets as Strangers of Paradise. Awesome! I really hope Square will do it.

He was worshipped as god by the human in his original world. Bahamut in FFXV was also considered a god by the human. He was killed by humans who wants to be freed from his control on their destiny. In the FFXV novelization, Noctis and the rest of the protagonists confronted Bahamut for his schemes. This bahamut might as well be the same Bahamut from XV, albeit perhaps coming from a different timeline where he ended up truly dead.

@@forestadamo4209 Well those Lufenians has been drawing locations from Final Fantasies, e.g., Astos' keep is supposedly Castle Palamecia FF2 and Sunken Shrine is supposed to be Deep Sea Research Center FF8, so maybe Lufenians in their desperation, opted to draw people as well.

Well, not really, Dissidia is really simple in its scenario it's just an alternate world where two gods fight each other. This story has nothing to do with it, they are poorly trying to give a Backstory to FF1

@@forestadamo4209 Yeah well. Not exactly _poorly_ , to be honest FF1's story was kinda simple even with the Lufenian's "lore". It's surprising they could do anything with the story with this Stranger of Paradise. Props to them for milking something unmilkable. XD

How will Jack's team create a world of balanced light and darkness if the Warriors of Light destroy them, the only sources of Chaos? That will result in a Flood of Light and the world destroyed, or meddled with by the Lufienians, again. This makes no sense.

The idea, which they indicated with their tell of it being full of darkness rather than the Lufenian emptiness, is that the two forces naturally shift back and forth. Lufenians created an artificial stasis that did not allow anyone to grow. By being a force of darkness, they could force light to emerge, and when the light is flourishing, the harmony overwhelming, discord would follow in a cycle that is forged by people, not a grand science experiment.

Well idk if Jack himself wanted the balance more so that they could just be free, and in the same way his incredible darkness was enough to fight back and regain control from life is, the flood of light will be enough to fight anything the lufenians try to do

I think the whole point of the plan was that Jack and the other Warriors were going to make their own Warriors of Light as an attempt to create a defense strong enough to bat away Lufienian meddlling. The balanced Light and Chaos thing was the goal of the Lufeinians and not what Jack was other. Perfect order is more a side effect ig? The message I'm getting so far is less about balance and more about "take your destiny into your own hands, without a master commanding you to." So Ultimately, its a matter of creating True Warriors of Light to give the people hope and by extension,a conduit of which can ward off despair ,but to do that, they need the time loop to buff them up.

The scraped ffxv dlc would've had us kill Bahamut. Kinda wondering if this Bahamut is the one from xv.

Why exactly does the WoL of the beginning who is I guess a failing one, not the one we control in FF1, looks exactly like the WoL we know ? Every WoL looks the same ? That makes like 0 sense

Given that ff1 hinges entirerly on a paradox the heroes at the start are the same as the ones at the end jack and friends just went back in time to create trials to make the heroes stronger

@@forestadamo4209 The story of the first FF said that the Warriors of Light always failed in their quest to defeat Chaos and light the 4 Crystals until the ones we control and beat the game with, destroying the time loop. Since it´s a loop, makes sense all of the WoL look exactly the same each cycle. It seems the two WoL fought in here are from two different time loops, hence why Jack said "hope to do this again in 2000 years"
