I recall when he was the second worst QB in the league. I remember his humility the way he faced it. That was why I love this guy. I was so happy to see him succeed and win a Super Bowl. It’s great to see him succeed beyond the field of play.

This is a home run for UAB. There’s a lot of talent that doesn’t get recruited by Auburn or Alabama. I honestly think he can turn that into a top 25 - top 30 situation year in and year out

Always impressed with how well spoken he is. His intellect of the game is on another level.

The crazy part is as a Coach Prime fan, I want to see Trent Dilfer succeed. Contrary to what the haters say, they’re both in coaching for very similar reasons.

How can you not root for UAB and this guy? Been following UAB since the return in 2017. Granted, 2023 was their worst record year, but many new challenges now exist (transfer portal, NIL). I'm excited to see where Coach Dilfer takes this team!

Trent Dilfer has always been one of, if not, my favorite football analysts/commentators. The reason is simple, he is great communicator and his passion for the sport and people burst through the screen. Wish him the best of luck of in his journey at UAB.

If you don’t believe Trent about developing Quarterbacks, just pull Hank Brown’s footage from Auburn’s bowl game with Maryland. He mentored him in High School.
