There are several types of moss, fungus and other pests that can affect your trees. Superior spray service offers a single application treatment that is effective for both Spanish Moss and Ball Moss. These are the two most common pests that invade trees here in the central Florida region. We spray a single application of chemicals that will not hurt the tree or the plants below, however the moss will slowly die after this application. The moss can take up to 6 months to die, but we guarantee that it will die. Both Spanish Moss and Ball Moss are not parasitic, they do not directly impact the tree, however too much of the moss can impede photo-synthesis by not allowing enough light to get to the leaves of the tree; which can dry out and kill your trees. The moss can also weigh the tree down causing branches to break especially in unfavorable weather conditions.

bahahaha, like they care. These spraying companies are all the same, drift it wherever and who cares. Everything they spray is perfectly safe Irregardless what the SDS says. Oh yea and lets kill all pollinators while we're at it.

Baking Soda or Potassium Bicarb isn't harmful
This is a comment that I posted on another video but I think it applies here as well.... I Escort Oversize concrete poles all over Florida (a quarter million miles in less than three years) and this stuff is everywhere. To say that the moss doesn't feed on the tree may be true but to say it doesn't kill the tree is absurd. It is ridiculously obvious, after viewing so many trees infested with this moss, that Spanish Moss = DEAD tree! It may take more than your life span sometimes, but it will happen. Up in North Florida, drive on 16 from I-75 area and head East, and you'll see some of the worst damage. I see 10 acre lots with beautiful homes and dozens of mature oaks very neatly organized around the property and EVERY one is DEAD and covered with Moss. You think this stuff looks good hanging off your trees, drive up and take a look for yourself and you'll be striping the moss outta that tree as soon as you get home. It's so disturbing how so many beautiful city and county parks, for our families and children, are infested with moss. Those parks are going to be showcasing the ignorance of the people who can control this and choose not too....because it's pretty and doesn't feed off the tree! Dumbasses..... People need to open their eyes and see beyond the temporary beauty of Spanish Moss. The ONLY people who should be loving this stuff are the people who grow Oaks on tree farms to sell. Spanish Moss is their job security.
