    That's great info dude. I run stock shocks with aluminium caps, with blue springs at the back and pink at the front. It handles really well on those, with 60g of nose weight. The front steering bite is much better.

    Thank you. By the way, the 60g, did you place the weight by the servo, or in the front bumper?

    This is a great video, nailed it on everything for the N slash. You should make a video for the slayer pro! It's already a sweet truck with the S1 tires but I wonder what else I could do to improve it's handling and prevent traction rolls...

    Honestly, that is the nature of the beast. The Slayer simply has too high a CG. This may sound counter intuitive, but worse tires are better so that it slides more. The tires it comes with are better for the Slash. You can turn the Slayer into a Nitro Revo but then you lose the awesome SCT look. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mWWBqqyAhrDfYJs.html

    @@telecomandorc Yea I want to keep the sct look and I've already got a revo 3.3. I went with s1 khuma tires to give that tiny bit of clearance and just a bit more traction and I'm thinking of putting the sway bar kit on it. Also gonna get a Dynamite .19 to replace the aging Traxxas engine. Never been a fan of the 3.3. a

    @@jonathanrigley981 The shock oil is way too light. 50wt at a min. should be used. Purple spring may be a bit too heavy or perhaps just right. Sway bars should help a lot. I only bought them for the Revo 3.3 but it is the same kit.

    O.S. It is more expensive initially but it is nicer. The 3.3 seems to burn out the bearing shields and starts to suck air in from there and run lean and hard to tune. I like it as a starter engine but at low temp (250F). Traxxas states 275F... not so sure about that.

    goddammit this was an expensive hobby to choose. question if youre gonna keep stock shocks and springs for a bit what weight oil for a sandy bumpy surface? I've already put the spacers in the back to give the springs some more "rebound" and also already blown a top off the rear shock just from sharp driving. So looking to stiffen it up more so thinking 50w on the back and 30w front?

    Unfortunatly, once you blow one shock cap, it will keep blowing off. The heavier the oil, the more it will do it. You WT selection seems good, but not for stock shocks. Stock you have to stay under 35WT which means you will botom out in the 20s. Say you went with 25WT front and 35WT rear... the front will bottom out and the rear will pop.

    a clicker ball point pen has a good return spring. You can get just the springs though, like 6 in a package. throttle return springs theyre called.

    Locate the braking rod. Turn the plastic knob a few turns as needed to make the brake engage. If the knob is not long enough, put some tubing between the break arm and the knob.

    How can I get faster acceleration and could you get more speed out of it?

  • @telecomandorc

    @telecomandorc

    Күн бұрын

    With the stock system? You cannot get both. You either gear down (larger spur or smaller pinion) for more accelerations, but it will peak fast and have low top end. Or you can gear high (smaller spur or larger pinion) but it would accelerate slower but eventually have more top end. If you have a chance, consider: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aqKIpK-Bk5XLec4.html Do you have a Titan 12T or a BL-2s?

    @@josephybarra3555 Gearing still applies. But a leaner mixture will yield more power and more speed but higher temps. Do not exceed 275F. Another options is the O.S. replacement for the TRX3.3. Unless you know someone who will tune your 3.3 by working on the ports in the sleeve.
