I put a roll l cage on my X-Maxx so that I don't have to worry about the body coming off and the body lasts like 5x more top 😂. I had those ramps, but I destroyed them with my X-Maxx, K8S and O8S 😂. It's still a MT. It's never going to be able to take sharp turns like a truggie 😁. That's why I prefer my XRT and K8S over my X-Maxx and O8S. You can just put the power down so much better with the truggies. And the bodies last way longer.

Hi Nolan! I've been looking at the upgrades that my Maxx V-2 should get to improve its health running in sand and dirt. I have a question for you or anyone in the comments who also may know, I'm looking at the rear shocks off the Sledge for replacing the rear shocks on the Maxx to help get the droop back there "up" a bit. And putting aluminum carriers on all four corners along with steel drive shafts, 17mm hexes etc. This entire upgrade package will cost me some bucks, but I think that it would be worth it. What are your thoughts? Thanks for bringing us another great video to keep us going Nolan! Always appreciate it brother! :)

  • @RCKnockout

Glad you liked it! I definitely think that the steel driveshafts are a good upgrade….as for the other hexes and different shocks….I’m not sure if that would be worth the money with the amount of return you’ll get from it in the end
