Trash Truck Hopper View (H67)
Back again with the Labrie Automizer picking up Trash and Single Stream in our Co-collect Municipal route. It's been a while since my last upload but due to Company issues and truck maintenance problems, filming has been a little scarce.
So I hope you enjoy at least this video !
For the uninformed ***** cross contamination is a part of the game. if you don't like it.. don't watch the video. be advised that most collection routes have on average 800-1000 stops per day with some even more than that.. If there are a couple of carts that get mixed, no one cares. most of the crap gets sorted out at a MRF anyway. The state of recycling in the US is a joke so i'm not going to put up with your stupid comments about mixing. it is what it is and if you don't like it.. move on to another channel. Thanks.

I did this job for 9 years. Our trucks were all single compartment, we collected recycling one week, garbage the next, definitely better for packing loads. Even though it’s far from perfect I do love the idea of a split body truck, very interesting! I have since moved on to another department but I miss this job, found it oddly fun and satisfying lol.

I don't disagree and actually tried to get it done. but the company doesn't want to do it. so it is what it is

Can understand this, there was one person here on YT that had to give it up, because someone was givin' him a terrible time with regards to what he put in the hopper, hey, that's his job as well as it is yours to put the trash in the hopper, that didn't make any sense, there's a million people posting vids of trash pick-up and this person had to pick on this guy!!!!

I really don't care what one or 2 people say. I can always just disable comments. But I don't like to do that cuz it's not fair to those who like the videos. I went from just posting boring work videos to 1300 people who actually look forward to these trash pickups so i began to not care what people said. Either they watch or they don't. but they needed to understand that the waste collection in the us is not perfect by any means. and it never will be.

hopper is way to small no offense split body trucks are like the government useless lol everytime he dumps a bin it looks like its gonna fall in the hopper this must suck after xmas using this truck all the boxes and wrapping paper

it actually does pretty well in winter. we had the finger pads replaced with heavy duty polyrubber which doesn't wear and holds the bins better. we only drop maybe 1 a month now and it's usually because of heavy bin. xmas always sucks because of the tonnage increase, but it works out in the end. the hopper is actually pretty deep but the worse part is not having dual crusher panels.
