Found a missing video that I meant to upload last month. Shows a little bit of packing on the route.
***** cross contamination is a part of the game. if you don't like it.. don't watch the video. be advised that most collection routes have on average 800-1000 stops per day with some even more than that.. If there are a couple of carts that get mixed, no one cares. most of the crap gets sorted out at a MRF anyway. The state of recycling in the US is a joke so i'm not going to put up with your stupid comments about mixing. it is what it is and if you don't like it.. move on to another channel. Thanks.

You may notice material sneaking under the divider panel. This was brought to my attention in a previous video and has been reported to our maintenance. Unfortunately it seems as it was a piece of steel that broke when the divider panel broke off a few months ago. I am in the process of getting that ordered and fixed. So please keep your comments to yourself regarding stuff falling through this crack.

I have commented on it before, Americans do not know how to recycle. I used to be one of those people who would recycle just about everything and after doing a little research I figure that it is actually better for the environment if I just throw most of it away as it will just get shipped overseas and get dumped into the ocean over there. So now I really only will recycle cardboard, tin and aluminum cans, glass and milk jugs and thats it.

You're absolutely right. Only things that are guaranteed to be recycled are paper, cardboard and some aluminum products. It's pointless beyond that
I wonder if, rather than folding the divider over when the ram is compressed, you wait until the ram is retracted. Seems like youre just compressing the cardboard down on top of the ram which just causes a tighter jam. Just my armchair trash truck driver's 2 cents. 😅
