It sounds a lot like Botez Gambit and ends up very strongly mirroring the Botez Gambit 😂😂

Yes, but black has sacrificed a bishop, so white is up a full piece. It is true white loses its castling rights so perhaps there's compensation, but I don't really know if that's the case...

It's the f7 which is important...not the e7. QxRh1...then W moves Qh5. Next move for W is Qxf7+ ...zugswang Kd8 for Black, >> then the obvious Qf8#. No matter which/what move Black decides after W=Qh5, it's over... even Qd5 won't work, as Bc4 threat is covered by Ne5...so the Black Q must vacate the diagonal after Bc4..or sacrifice herself to prevent Ne5 & Qf7 combo😮. If you think g6 will work..it won't - because of Bd3 and then sacrifice... QxRh1 should NOT have been moved ; "..to take is (often) a mistake..",

@TeeBeeAnR

Its not as bad as you are making it sound. The best variation is not as practical even though depth 30 stockfish 15 thinks it is +5 and the variation he showed is +4. The g3 variation is much more practical because if the queen takes e4 a queen trade is forced and in every other following variation it is better than king g1 objectively.
