Thank you Mr Igor
recently, I’ve been doing well in the openings and middle games, but seem to have trouble blowing it during the end game. Your principles have really helped me get through openings in middle games with an advantage. But late middle game and endings seem like a big area. I need improvement. Any chance you could make some videos on those parts of the game?
Extremely well explained.
Hi Igor, I think the best answer for your homework is Nd4, and followed by b5 and c6 to kick the white quee away and take Bishop, if white play Bf7+. Just wondering how about white play Bf7+ and then Cxd4, @6:20. Thanks you so much!
The move should be Nd4 to attack the queen and the c2 pawn. Then white probably plays Bxf7+ and black is forced play Ke7, then white must move the queen. The only move which deals with all threats is Qc4 which defends both c2 pawn and f7 bishop, but now black can play b5 to attack the queen and white will needs to move the queen away and allows black to either play Nxf2+ and wins a rook, or give up the bishop at f7

Great video again! The problem I am facing is that I have difficulty to find the great moves you are talking about. I pretend I have to imagine moves that are against my actual "narrow" vision. I also feel a little bit like Luke being told by Yoda to unlearn what he has learned 😄 One example is that someone said to complete the opening before attacking, what has helped me and what goes somehow against your attacking moves in this video. I am scratching my head about how I will address all of this from now on 😵💫. That's what I like about chess, there is always something new to consider; even things we took for granted. Thanks.

The key is to keep playing with all these ideas in mind. You'll probably make a lot of mistakes, but it will slowly make sense and become part of your games until you notice a big jump in your rating. I went from 700 to 1200 in less than a year following this method.
Found the best or second best move in all cases. Still 700 something in Blitz. (This channel has still helped me, no doubt about that).
9:50 how about Bishop to H6, if knight takes pawn then we can let the rook hang and take the white bishop, and next turn go to A2 and capture the rook (meanwhile the white knight's trapped) And if white takes the pawn with the bishop, move the king to e7, and next move we exchange the knight for our bishop and capture the white bishop ? I'd appreciate feedback on this. (sorry, I don't master chess notations so I explained it in plain english)
At first I thought the solution to the puzzle was 1… Na5 2. Bxf7+ Ke7 3. Qb5 c6 4. Qe2 Kxf7 -+ However, then I noticed that white can play 3. Qa4 instead of 3. Qb5 and in that case black has just lost a pawn, and castling rights. So the solution is 1… Nd4 2. Bxf7+ Ke7 3. Qc4 b5 4. Qd3 Kxf7 -+ Also, in the last position in the video where you play h6 Nxf7 Rh7, it's also worth mentioning that Bxf7+ is met by Ke7, and white loses a piece by force. Their bishop is attacked by the king, but it's defended. However the defender itself is under attack

I'm debating back and forth and decided to check the computer. It recommends Nd4, but my original thought was d5 and if they take with a pawn or trade off with the bishop they will be down -3.60 points in advantage vs -2.20 with Nd4. I personally would play d5 despite the video indicating Nd4 is the move.

I was trying to figure out. …Nd4, Qe3 d4, Bg3 dxe4, Qc4 Qe7. And so on. Is there something better after Qe3 guarding c3? Edit: wait after Qc4 threatening mate black can play …Be6 and the queen needs to retreat to f1 or she’s gonna get trapped. Then black can trade bishops and c3 is hanging.

Relax your mind. Don’t play too much. You can just solve puzzles. Eventually, the game becomes easier as you learn the best moves in most situations.
For the puzzle, I think Nd4. After that Bxf7 Ke7, Qc4 b5 will cause the queen to give up guarding the bishop.
Can we get more videos like this one, that shows the 3 different types of moves
Nice
Is it pawn to d4 pls answer me man also thanks for your help
I think the right move is a counter attack against the queen with knight d4, he cant actually checkmate you easily here with his bishop in front so knight d4 defuses the attack, takes center control and creates new initiative, once he moves then pawn d5 may get you 2 knights in the center.
I've reached the position in the puzzle many times after defending scholars mate. I always go Nd4, Bf7+, Ke7, Qc4, b5, Qc3/d3, and win the bishop.
Puzzle of day; im THINKING start with D5 push somewhat like the fried liver line?
Is answer D5? If pawn captures then knight to D4 ,if bishop captures then exchange with knight and after pawn captures again ND4

I love the content you create , but can you make a video on pirc defense with traps😊
Blacks best move will be i guess to counter attack with knight on A5 it forks bishop and quin.
after watching your video, I would do Knight on D4 😉
Nd4 counter attacking, if Bxf2+ then Ke2 attacks the bishop which will win a piece
It's the easiest example to explain those chess principals.😎
Qe2 ?
I would move e4 to block the bishop. Then it would eat the white pawn. Then i move my horse to e5 to attemprt to captute the queen.if the queen will move to e6 then that is triple fork by night to f7.
Rb1 and the xb4?
move I think is Na5, bishop can still check but then after king steps forward, the queen must be saved and there is no place where she can cover the bishop, so the bishop is lost sooner or later ?

Nd4 is the move though. You allow the check, move the king up, white queen has to move to c4 (she has to protect the bishop) and then I guess just b5 to kick away the queen. Wherever she moves she'll have to stop guarding the Bishop and/or c2.

Na5 to attack both Queen and bishop
D5? If pawn takes, simply move the knight to d4 forking queen/pawn with the further fork on c2. Thatd be my move, but i am not great.
Total rookie here but is there a better move for the puzzle than queen E2? If he decides to attack you lose a pawn and a queen and gain a bishop and a queen. Plus he loses all development of his pieces. Sounds like a fair trade to me

Actually pawn to d5 looks better now that I look longer. Damn you chess lol
Na5 right? Its a fork and it defends the b7 pawn
I would say Nd4 looks pretty good to me
I'm mid 1300s & I've been employing counterattack for some time now. I think Igor overrates 1500 players & underrates players of my standard. I've noticed in other clips. He seems out of touch with a large group of very good players who can't crack 1500. Incidentally, finding the correct move at the 7-min mark on the clip (Rxa2) was pretty easy to see for anyone on my rating. I won't go into detail right now, but I think Igor also gets it wrong at around the 11-min mark when he forgets that it's actually a rook-PAWN tradeoff for the knight -bishop, so if bishops are worthy a little more than 3 pawns, white is slightly worse off in material terms.
Can you make a video of SEMI SLAV PLZ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
