Transport Fever 2 - UNDERGROUND COAL MINE & REALISTIC FREIGHT HUB
Ойындар
Have you even seen an underground coal mine in Transport Fever 2?
What about trains loading the wagons individually?
Maybe trains doing maneuvers like in real life?
Oh well, now is your chance to see all these in this video.
Not my usual kind of creation. This time I have focused on functionality and I think this is as functional as this game will get!
Enjoy!

The story:
''2 villages,2 stories,2 different decades.
And because we can't stop the time, here we are,in 1980,were with a drop of imagination,I have created something unique. Not so long ago, donkeys used to pull the carts with coal out of the old coal mine, which is now depleted.
Thanks to technology, 3 new mines have been discovered under the old one.The days when the miners used to fill the carts by hand, are long gone.
Conveyor belts and machinery ensure that each wagon is individually loaded.
The shift is over for today, and the miners are waiting another train to arrive.
The coal is unloaded in these storage buildings and from here into the trains. The green train's path is blocked by a couple of empty wagons and that is a job for our little shunter. The blue train will have to un-hook the empty wagons, travel to the other side, hook them back, before moving forward into the loading bay.The miners are now in the commuter train heading to their families.
As for the next time,we will find out where is all this coal going.''

This is how the game should be: Detach/attach power, shunting the vehicles and individual loading of wagons etc. I know it was done with a 'trick' [as you mentioned elsewhere' but very nice indeed! Just wish can be done really in the game! Great video, am impressed coming from an actual driver! lol

This randomly popped up in my feed today, jaw dropped at the detail and ideas here. Long time player of titles such as Open TTD, A-Train, and the first Transport Fever. In my youth I used to love making realistic but highly detailed and "pretty" maps, but I have lost most of my creativity in adulthood. But from a strictly realism standpoint this is wonderful, great work. Not keen on TPF2 myself, but maybe tempted to get back into it at some point if these are the quality of mods people have managed to wrench out of it.

You sir, are an absolute genius. How did you do the roof over the mine... mods from TransportFever.net ? And the filling of wagons one by one, and uncoupling/coupling etc. along with the great stirring soundtrack, the awesome flying camera work. The time and effort that must have gone into this deserves much greater recognition. I take my hat off to. And to the developers of TPF2. THIS is what should be possible with your software. Give this man a job!
@UnknownPlayer2020
4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Julie for your kind words.Well to start with, yes, the roof is the bridge/dam from joefried(it can be found in the video description/other mods) assets that I use in all of my builds and probably my favourite mod ever.Filling the wagons is done by measuring the length of the wagon and making the station as long as the wagon. For each wagon there is a station. When you set the line you pick the stations in order and starting for the first one you set the amount you want to be loaded.(For example,10 wagons,10 stations.First stop is 10% second is 20% and so on)I want to mention that for loading the wagons is done with just the station mod.Spitzkehre +++ (ehemals Depot mit Prellbock) the rest is vanilla. The uncoupling/coupling are 2 different videos,at the exact same location with the exact same movements. When the coupling should happen, the videos are perfectly timed and joint together. There will be a video of the building process in timelapse in about a week or so.

@@UnknownPlayer2020 Sorry, which video's? can you drop the link in here please? I do not think that you got a part 2 to the "Transport Fever 2-Building : UNDERGROUND COAL MINE(PART 1/TIME LAPSE)" video yet.

No,the second part is not out yet,and I don't think it will be as the video seems to be corrupted for some reason. When the shunter picks up the wagons are 2 videos with exact same movement one with just a loco and one with the loco and the wagons attached. When the coupling should happen the videos are joint together.
This Format should habe a better Name. Just as in german Schönbau. Then i could find more talented builders like you

No, unfortunately there isn't a mod that allows you to do that. The uncoupling/coupling are 2 different videos,at the exact same location with the exact same movements. When the coupling should happen, the videos are perfectly timed and joint together.
