Every year 8 million tonnes of plastic ends up in the ocean and if trends continue there will be more plastic in our seas than fish by 2050. Tourism plays a big role in contributing to this global problem of single-use plastics, but it also has a big part to play in the solution too.
This 1-hour webinar focuses on providing practical tips and actions to inspire, incentivise and guide hoteliers to reduce consumption and increase circularity of plastic in their operations. Businesses and experts demonstrate first-hand insights and examples of how plastic use has successfully been reduced, how barriers are overcome and how actions can positively impact overall operations.
