    This is such a taboo subject for many woman where they believe that never wanting sex is "normal". Dead bedrooms are an epidemic and normalised to the point where men and women that want more in that area are labeled sex fiends. What we're taught growing up is so destructive. Big respect to you both for having this conversation. The world needs It.

    So much I want to say but truly don’t have the words just yet. This is a pivotal moment, having seen this right when I have. I was just speaking with my husband about my feeling of this pull that my next step in healing from childhood traumas, is to figure how to reclaim my sexuality and whole being. So eager to keep learning. Thank you.

Also the jade egg she sells it's just 1 piece but Ellen in your previous (1 year ago video) you had a whole set of eggs. How did you learn the weight lifting exercises? Thanks a lot!

    Conscious monogamy is a very interesting topic. I assume that in a long-term relationship it is where we are able to grow when brave enough to look at the painful issues. But never stay in an abusive relationship. Get the power and strength to leave toxic people.

  • @theoolscamp115
    @theoolscamp1152 жыл бұрын

    It's so interesting because there's a lot that makes me uncomfortable or that i disagree with in this, but despite that i come out of this podcast having learned a lot and creating a change of perspective about my own sexuality! It means a lot to me that i get to have a different perspective on monogamy/polyamory, or feel frustrated that this doesn't even mention queer relationships, all the while still internalizing how important trust, surrender and loving my partner's body is! And despite being polyamorous i LOVE that i can make the conscious choice to be committed to my partner(s) through all the transformations they go through. Anyway i'm repeating myself but it's nice to disagree without this gut feeling of invalidation or vitriol or whatever, because i used to watch Ellen a lot and i know all the love and care that she has and that if we were to disagree, i feel it'd be done lovingly.

  • @theoolscamp115

    @theoolscamp115

    @@jeanwhite6884 i think queer or hetero only spaces are fine (but then you should own up to it and lgbt spaces are open about what they are but not hetero-focused spaces) but when we're talking about sexual relationships in general and only speak in terms of feminine and masculine energy together, that's ignoring a lot of other experiences

    Yes, this is certainly an interesting conversation, yet completely excludes SO MANY people. Queer, lesbian, trans women, women who medically cannot “self lubricate,” men who medically cannot last for an hour, etc. I think there are also a lot of questions about the medical and scientific credibility of a lot of this information 🤷🏼‍♀️. But hey, it’s KZread.

    This was an interesting conversation. The language used turned me off at times if I'm honest, but the concept of the jade egg was interesting. I remember a video you made a while back - that was the first time I had ever heard of it. Do you know of other people that you recommend that teach on this topic? I don't think I could invest in one of Kims courses because I disagree with a lot that she said and the language she used, but the overall concept was very interesting and I'd love to learn about it.

    Ugh! I must make the most needy children! I can’t get them to sleep on there own until past a year old…. They’ve needed to be held by someone. Makes these situations hard because I feel like once I get my baby to sleep, it’s a race. I’m not mad about it, but I just never know when I’ll get this unicorn of a chance. We don’t live near a large support system so babysitters are not possible in this season. But hopefully soon

    Somewhat true but here's a few things to learn: 1. You shouldn't have sex after giving birth (at least for postpartum period), everyone knows it can lead to infections, slows down the healing and is extremely painful (in all spiritual teachings you are not advised to have intercourse if there's bleeding, even during period for hygienic reasons) 2. Sexual energy is not the same as life force energy (in Tantra and Vedas etc there's a big difference between those two, one can be transformed into another but it's usually the other way round from what she's saying) 3. In many spiritual teachings the main practice is to Not to waste Life Force meaning abstinence from sex (being in perpetual honeymoon period exhausts it, so constant "simmering" is not a good thing) Look into work of Joe Dispenza (please interview him) - people during his workshops are experiencing ecstasy without sex... And through meditation heal themselves from all traumas and diseases. Bottom line: this sex coach has a few good tricks to improve sex life and it's great but please don't give it a spiritual meaning 😉😄

    I dont like the phrase...the Well F____ed woman. It's just raunchy and harsh. Why not say...a Well Loved Woman?? If sex is love and love is sex, it is making love. I know it isn't to everyone, it's just a physical sex connection. But to me it is a heart connection that brings two people together in LOVE. It is Love that shakes the ground, it is the heart connection that shakes the ground. Not a raunchy profane word. I would never explain beautiful sex to my teenage daughter by using that phrase, would anyone? Overall KIm has some good information and I'm sure she has helped many people. Sex is not the top of the relationship pile in my view. It is the FRUIT of the energy put out to have a good relationship all the time. Just as Kim said there can be blockages around the other relationship tension. Kim also possibly attaches different types of spiritual beliefs to sex that not everyone shares. Being reborn is not the way most would describe an incredible, memorable time with their partner. God is my guide in my life.

    Ellen, I enjoy watching your videos but I think it’s disappointing that you are now adding sponsorships into your podcast- because you also do them in pretty much all of your regular videos and you have a paid membership to watch your videos…. Also you and Hannah were both just promoting Brooklinen as the best bedding ever and now it’s another brand of overpriced bedding that’s the best you’ve ever had… and your viewers should go jump and buy?!- it just feels like every video has become a sponsorship being read from a script to sell us things that we don’t need or can’t afford.

    Making videos for KZread is very exhausting and it takes so much work. Don't you think people should be paid for their work? this is not a hobby for her. While she does enjoy it, this is WORK for her. Her and her husband work really hard, and she's a working mom taking care of her family. The sponsorships allow her to have an income, especially when KZread censors her videos and she doesn't make money from KZread ads. From what I remember, she's only spoken about Brooklinen and Buffy (which she was only promoting their comforter which is what they're known for). Majority of instagramers and KZreadrs have sponsors to make a living. AND if you couldn't tell, she's not endorsing ANY company, she's only endorsing the ones that align with her beliefs and morals (natural, green, vegan, cruelty free, etc.) If you don't like it, then get off KZread. You're always going to see ads everywhere.
