Why do people LOVE a good hotel room? Because it's CLEAN, uncluttered, the bedding is luxurious, the lighting is sufficient..... and the colors are serene. All of those elements make for a relaxing, serene experience that people love. Every single thing that Garrett talked about are SOOOO do-able and will give you that upscale hotel feel, plus a good night's sleep. Ditch the clutter, pitch the overdone patterns and colors, sweep out the dust bunnies and clear the crud. Make your bedroom a haven of peace and a true retreat for all your senses. Good for you Garrett! Truth-teller extraordinaire! If people listen and do what you say, they too can have a stunning bedroom like a 5-star hotel.

*Bedroom Lighting* . I thrifted all of my bedroom lighting; large scale hammered copper 3-way lamp, black iron candlestick lamp with amber mica shade and a 4 arm with bowl chandelier that is alabaster with copper shades and detailing. I spent a grand total of $80 for all. That alone completely changed the vibe of my space and the moody glow at night is divine.

I love your advice, but honestly - your personality is what draws me in every time!

HOW did you know my bedroom was the dumping ground for things that have no permanent home at the moment? 😂🤣😅😂 Of course 7 people in a 4 bedroom home (none under the age of 15 tends to do that to a place. ONE DAY, I will have my home back.

Excellent advice but I need your tips on how to get the cat to clean my baseboards! I learned years ago to buy the best you can afford on linens and towels. You want a bed that pampers you and who doesn't deserve this?! We also don't have a television in the bedroom as I don't want distractions from my rest. My bedroom is my sanctuary and I will splurge here because I'm worth it! Loving these turtlenecks and blue is your color! ☺️❤️😊🥰🦩🌴☀️🥰❤️🥰❤️

Wow good you even mentioned window trim. I was unsure about using curtain to cover up all the beautiful trims I have because no one talked about dealing with curtains with window trim before.

If you suffer from insomnia have one lamp with an orange(!) Lightbulb. Trust me. I can't read more than 10 minutes and fall asleep quicker in general.

Your bedroom looks lovely and calm. I’m a fan of Brooke Linen - I have their linen set and it is the softest linen I’ve found. Absolutely beautiful.

Garret... do u think we should have a warm light in the bedroom if you live in a area where the summer goes up to 48 C?? there is a debate where people want warm light just for aesthetic sake, no matter where they are from... but practically I think room light temp should be opposite to outside temp... if its hot outside, it has to be cool light and vice versa... love to know your view, and if possible please make a video on this topic

Am I the only one who saw the half eaten banana 🍌 on the nightstand? 🤢

My best cleaning tip is the use of my leave blower, open windows keep low to floor and watch all the pet hair, dust etc. leave your environment. Can't move your wash machine blow out debrie. My house is clutter dust free and maintained hard to reach areas with my blower., Check out underneath my bed clean and spotless along with closets., behind toilet underneath stove. Air cleaning at its best!
