Reminds me of something Eckhart Tolle said recently in one of this videos, which is that "if you fight with a monster, you end up becoming one", many people want to blame, judge, criticize, and point fingers externally in terms of why they don't feel how they want to feel, and why they're not getting the results that they want in their life, when often times, we need to stop doing this, and take our power back. This is absolutely critical regardless of what happened in the past, or what is happening in your environment, because if we don't take ownership and responsibility of this, and continue to blame and judge, we will never become the people that we want to be, and stay stuck in a box. Not to mention that unknowingly, when we put ourselves in a box while blaming others, we actually put OTHERS in a box as well. This is why I believe the best thing to do is to move forward, and let go of all negative energy that is holding you back. Great video Owen. - Francis

The paradox is that people who care about results get less results and people who have a core essence end up doing better without even sweating! Truly remarkable stuff, this is real power, not force. You're a living example and I like that you mention how you are able to be up there so long, it is almost inhuman.

Imagine if one could simply eradicate fear, insecurity, and stress from their entire being. This state of fearlessness would alone be heaven on earth IMO. There are homeless bums that have no trouble sleeping at night even though they are flat broke. There are certain people that can free climb a radio tower all the way up to change the light bulb and are totally fine with it. There are certain people that can perform live music in front of shea stadium and love it. There are certain guys that can roll up to 9's and 10's and carry the entire conversation without getting freakd out. Etc etc

Love the shoutouts to Sam Vaknin. Him and Richard Grannon have really enlightening conversations about those cluster B personality traits and how to free yourself from the ways they ensnare you through others and from within. The insights that Owen shares about freeing up mental bandwidth by understanding how these psychological traits effect us and how to avoid them are some of the most helpful ideas you could possibly learn to integrate. Thank you Owen for planting these mustard seeds. One of the most perceptive humans I’ve been blessed enough to learn from. “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.” Living waters flow to the lowest reservoirs… the heavenly peace that is offered to you in this life does not come from trying to make yourself grandiose. Thank you Owen. You’ve poured so much wisdom into your students and I think you’re bringing a lot of real light to this world that has so much darkness.

We all vibrate. Our reality is determined by our frequency, energy or vibration. David Hawkins energy scale shows well. We change realities as our frequencies change. Thus the reason why why two people can be in the same environment and have two completely different experiences. Imagination creates reality. Consciousness is imagination. Imagination is energy or vibration. We are vibrating beings. Better vibration, better reality, better life.

I just made the connection between what people call "spiritual bypassing" and your point at 32:00. Spiritual bypassing is essentially the same as "positive thinking" to remain ignorant of what is in front of us. Perhaps we do not use spiritual teachings to ignore the world. We use it to process it, and absorb energy, and see it clearly.

I read through the Tao Te Ching once. I havent studied it much, but Id like to someday. Its a bunch of poetically phrased ideas that seem paradoxical. Reading them is almost like doing a weird brain workout. The theme of the book, in my opinion is: getting you to realize and be amazed by the miracle that something has come forth out of nothing. Existence. You. Your consciousness. When you stop taking existance for granted, even for a moment, you tap into the spirit of eternity. I think meditating on this one thing: the light shines in the darkness and the darkness comprehends it not, can raise you to the highest peaks of spiritual enlightenment and infuse you with the Holy Spirit. When you realise that there are no rules is when you have the faith to move mountains. What rules do you think God looked at when he said Let there be light. There were none then and there are none now. The only rules for creation are the ones God dreamed up, and we can do the same.

I'm paraphrasing but when you said being committed to the process, the infinite, being a drop of water in the sea, really resonated with me. You have mentioned this many different ways over in your videos, but this metaphor really reinforced this concept.

Great video, thank you Owen. I am learning so much. “Why not be confident because of how clear you feel in your mind.” I feel I have seen the truth of this. Depending on the feeling inside you create the situation in the external. Like if you feel shame or guilt you will not want good things to happen because you feel you don’t deserve it, your mind starts attacking you. But when you try to not change the external but let go of the shame, guilt, anger, fear and NOT resisting happiness and peace, all of the sudden there are no problems, you see opportunities and solutions and life flows easily. Amazing work.

I think the challenge for most people is: stop doing the bare minimum to avoid pain and remember what its like to go after something you want. Look at Owen for example. He's going after good things he wants. Its positive action. Hes going toward something instead of evading consequences. Remember what it was like to wake up on Christmas morning when you were a kid. Thats a divine feeling. So maybe the best thing you can do is try and put yourself in a position where you feel like taking positive action. If its not self destructive, you've found something that you like to do which can lead to a reason to live.

I have watched this at least 5 times so far over the last couple days. I hated when he said "things can be so easy," but there's a specific time stamp im gonna put here eventually if I can find it. It doesn't mean things are easy, it means that there's always two things you can do. You can make it harder on yourself than it needs to be, or as easy as it possibly can. And it might still be hard. But it's 10x easier than the other option, to let things be 'easy'.
