Man Corey, thanks for writing me this..I'm glad you are getting some relief from the winter up there watching these and will keep them coming about my rides in Africa. Thanks again and please subscribe if you haven't already.

There wasn't much of the west that wasn't on fire this past summer...or the summers before. Very nice vid, thank you.

You are so right...the west has been on fire each summer and I'm hoping that changes soon but it's not looking promising. Thanks for your kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed it Firesail.

Hwt Hey Lee, I also road through fire areas on the TAT last summer. After exiting the last burn area I stopped and read the road closed sign where is stated there is a 10,000 fine for entering. I got stopped twice and was told to leave the area but I stayed on the trail... Great video and I can't wait to see Africa.

Now that is my kind of rider...making it happen despite the odds...staying the course. Nice work and thanks Dan for these kind words...glad you are enjoying them! Next week will be the last TAT video. I will introduce Africa at the end of it and then try to keep the Africa riding videos coming!

A few of the Moto bloggers have dumped the GO Pros for the DJI systems. My 8 locks up in the Florida heat and has to have the battery removed before it will start again. Enjoyed the video.. good to see a 1150GSA out there still running off road.

I hear you...the 9 black that I lost would freeze up on me regularly but my trustee 7 black has been a solid little camera. I have checked out the DJI and just might pull the trigger. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I've got the 1150GSA over here in Africa now so subscribe and watch it plow through things over here lol :)

i didn't notice any footage that could be attributed to that vantage point from the end of th bars. so i am assuming u did not find the goPro? u state that u have had the problem at 80. seems u only have the mount rated for 75. love the video. thank u for the effort and the documenting the damage. soon it will be lost in regrowth, and u will have a special time capsule. . . yes, i subscribed.

Man, thanks trykkid! Yes, I guess that clamp was rated for slower speeds, and to be honest, I was likely going faster than 80. about a week prior to this, I broke the same clamp with my hand as I turned the camera in a different direction...I like the time capsule idea! Maybe some road worker 200 years from now will find it and I'll be famous. Thanks for the kind words, for watching and for subscribing! One more TAT video and then you'll be seeing me in Africa.

Happy Holidays to you R10! And, nope...after over an hour of searching in the 100 degree heat, I let that GoPro go for good. Now I'm in Africa with my bike, one GoPro 7 and a drone lol! Thanks for watching and for the kind words.

It's so frustrating but you just gotta keep enjoying the ride.

Love it! Although a terrible thing, must have been an experience in its self. Can I ask where you get your soundtracks from? I use epidemicsound, but can never find anything as cool as the last track you used. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks Dan! Yes, I'm glad to have had the experience, but also glad it's over. As for the soundtracks, I've just been using the free music from KZread's Audio Library (if you go to your 'Studio page, look at the left column, scroll down and you'll see 'Audio Library'). I spend time trying different songs on a section before committing and that's been working for me for now. Glad you like my choices and thanks again for watching and commenting!
