A brief half an hour wait at Newton Abbot station in Devon. Thought I'd kill the time by doing some filming, so here's what I managed to catch!
INCLUDES: Great Western HST's (Green livery & 43027 90 Year Anniversary Livery), 150 & 143 and Cross Country Voyagers and an HST.
The Cross Country HST seen arriving at the end of this video, I then joined right up to York. Spent the day on HST's, having been on an East Midlands, Great Western, that Cross Country HST and then a Grand Central HST from York back to London. Certainly clocked up some miles on Class 43's this day!

The !Quality Street wrapper" livery is still carried by 43027, then. I think they rather missed the point when they just repainted 43002 in retro livery and not 43003 as well, since that was also part of the first HST set of course. Particularly good sound quality with the new camera; the HSTs and Voyagers sound great.

Great video as usual, but what a shame about the state of Newton Abbot station. It looks like it has had no TLC since the days I used to watch the Cornish Riviera come through with a steam engine and the wonderful old livery. It's a mere shadow of its former self!

It's not a badly kept station, it's just the paintwork on the canopies that shows the effects of the weather.

I know what you mean Andy, the state of platforms 1+2 at 4:45 is sad to see Its a shame that platform 4, the passing line, and the motorail terminal all went as well Just shows how under used the railways are these days :(

A very decent sized platform at Newton Abbott. Ideal for some of the longe trains and their coaches/carriages.
Newton Abbot is like a 5 minute drive from where I live so I’m here to say that the warehouse behind the station got burnt down by Arson and is now an Aldi store
I'm really going to miss the class 43s when they all do finally go.
