Newton Abbot, the junction of Brunel's GWR main line to Devon and Cornwall and Torquay and Paignton. First Great Western and Cross Country trains run to destinations across the country from London to Dundee and Penzance. Traction is Voyagers, HST, Sprinters and Pacers.

When I was a kid Newton Abbot had 6 platforms! 1,2,3 and 4 were mainline and Torbay Branch. 5 was for motorail and 6 was for the Mortenhampstead branch. With a large shed and yard for engine servicing.
