    @@billybobs1705 I disagree. That would be a difficult act to keep up for as long as he has. Literally everyone that has ever met Brian Shaw has said he is exactly who he presents himself as. We've peered into his family life, seen behind-the-scenes, and not once has he dropped his guard. I have reason to believe he is the genuine article.

    @@rileybooth1374 What's your point? Jay is leaner and would still beat Brian in a bodybuilding comp. Brian is in a completely different discipline as far as his training goes and isn't worried about "looking good" - Jay was never worried about being as brutally strong as a professional strongman. Not to mention that Brian is still competitive in his sport, Jay had been retired for over 8 years when this video was recorded.

    Dexter Jackson is another Olympia winner who is older than Jay and still in great shape. For older ones, Lou Ferrigno, even though not a winner (runner-up in 1975), is in very good shape given his age (70+).

    @@sleepyjo9340 Stage-ready bodybuilders, especially Olympia level, don't qualify as "healthy bodies". Both sports need their respective body types to be the best at what they do; that's why you never see world champion strongmen with slim frames and skinny bodies and why pro bodybuilders are always dehydrated and malnourished on stage.

    Yep. Look at cutler next to Coleman now a days. It's not even close. However most would consider ronnie to be the better bodybuilder and Jay himself said Coleman is the greatest bodybuilder ever. So I guess he made a little more sacrifice pushing through heavy weights and Jay was a little smarter with training.

    Incredibly cool to see the pace of Jay's reps, where he feels the contraction, warming up with a couple sets before going heavy, not caring about what all the KZread gurus say about proper form this or that. He's totally connected to simply listening to his muscles. Thanks for showing basically every single rep and not cutting stuff out. That was so educational. Thanks!

    I started training more like Jay Cutler in the way he pays attention to what his body is feeling or is telling him. I've gotten better gains this way and without any injuries so far. Awesome coaching, Jay!

    I love listening to jay cutler talk about how he does an exercise, you can tell he puts a lot of thought into what he does. Proving the fact bodybuilding is not just mindless weight lifting, but a highly technical sport. No wonder he was so successful.

    It's good he put alot of thought in it. I used to watch his training videos while he was Mr. Olympia and Jay was known for having horrible technique, but it worked for him. There were other top tier bodybuilders who used bad technique but it worked for them....everyone's body is different. Edit: He mentioned people criticizing his form and said, "but that's how I won the Mr. Olympia."

    This has got to be my favorite workout video of all time. Two of the greatest, both of them humbled and not even caring much about the weights, but every pump you can see they are getting the muscles blasted. I felt like I got a full workout just watching them. Thorough and great to learn.

    I've seen a few videos of Brian spotting people. He seems like the perfect work out partner. He gives a lot of encouragement and you know he can handle spotting whatever weight you're lifting lol

    There a video of Obie grabbing a 3-400lb bench press off a guy's chest during an injury. He grabs it like I would a 150lb bench press off a kid. Crazy to see him just react. And brian is MUCH stronger than Obie.

    Brian is so explosive in all of his movements, even the tricep pushdowns he smashes the whole stack with an explosiveness to rival a Tsar Bomb.

    Because he's lifting with light weights for him. If you did tricep push downs with 20 lbs, you'd be explosive too.

    Everytime I see Brian in a video he always seems like the nicest guy! This video shows it moreso the way he's asking questions, listening and replying from what's just been said is genuinely really nice to see!     @@Pirustae still doesn't explain anything. Jay obviously had his cycles on point to win FOUR Mr Olympias and is probably on at least a moderate dose of test and maybe some GH to still keep the size he has and keep his joints and tendons healthy.

    looks like "Sports" TRT aka-400-500 mg a week. Maybe a little gh, since most docs like to stack it with the test for TRT

    Brian is so crazy Humble. He just shows up and trains, even though its way lighter than he is used to. And even doing that he just does it to push people to be their best, not to prove he is better. Its really great to see!

    It seems Jay is really in tune with his body, having listened to it through the career, and therefore sustained no joint injuries. Not even joint pain in this sport is almost unheard of.

    not doing heavy compounds helps with that. he is famous for using mostly machines. which is probably a healthier way to do it.

    @@Blackstar1701 Most people get injuries from machines. Machines can move in only 1 direction. Putting a lot of pressure on your body in ways that shouldn't be. Also machines are 1 size. Sure, some you can adjust a little, but it will never fit every person perfectly. Everyone is different. Some taller, some wider, some shorter etc.

    I've been inspired by both of these guy's careers. I followed Jay all through high school when i started getting into bodybuilding. I've followed Brian over the last 8 years with his tremendous strength. Seeing these two giants come together, talk, workout, is awesome and definitely cool to see

    What a great video. You can see the respect both athletes have for each other, talking a little smack but still having a blast.     I've watched this video a couple times now. Jay and Brian are my inspiration for getting back into the gym and getting in shape / eating healthy. Granted, i know i wont look like them because everybody is different, but they're my motivation and role models.

    I love people in the fitness community that acknowledge the difference in people. Nothing is set in stone when it comes to lifting. Everyone is different and the feel is extremely important and I love that jay emphasizes this the entire time.

    Watching this video I knew within the first few minutes Jay was a little more excited than he normally was which is fantastic! It’s good to see that Brian brought a little bit of competition out of him he even admits it in the video and I absolutely love that! Really starts the fire and it’s great seeing top guys in the world being together teaching each other and teaching our world and community in the fitness industry keep up videos like this! Definitely could feel the energy of this video

    Not gonna lie, i half expect a body building competition from Brian after a session with Jay. Mostly because it would be hilarious having him stand fully deffed out next to other ''big guys''.
