The 70's, early/mid 80's were Awesome!! There will never be another Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet, Auman Brothers, Marshal Tucker, Outlaws, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Ozark Mountain Daredevils or Atlanta Rythm Section, NEVER!!! Just thankful I was alive, there and listening when it was all fresh and new!!

oklahoma sooners? wow haven't thought of them since i lived in Altus 40 some odd years ago. They were more into their own team the bulldogs even though that was the highschool. I remember that because i wanted to play football and become a bulldog when i got old enough hahaha. parents said no, so i played soccer. Not less violent btw , but many less concussions. Sooner Nation, also reminds me of Skynard...

I saw them back in the day when Blackfoot was Blackfoot. Now it's Rickey Medlocke and his backup band.... well anyway I saw them open up for Def Leppard. When Def Leppard came on, the crowd began chanting Blackfoot Blackfoot Blackfoot Blackfoot. You could hardly hear Def Leppard playing. They kicked Def Leppard's butt

I saw Blackfoot open for Molly Hatchet at Memorial hall Kansas city Kansas in 1982. At least I think it was 82. Lead singer for Hatchet got sick because of diabetes. Blackfoot did at least 2 hours and it was unforgettable. I went to see them anyway and was worth twice the money

Rickey is the only American Indian in this version of the band.... He was trying to do what Mick Jones did with Foriegner... Franchise out the name and maybe do a show or two. It didn't work out. Rick is doing a-ok playing with Skynyrd...he was one a drummer for them way back.
