Advice for you and anyone else unaware. All american class 1 railroad company's locomotives have an emergency fuel cutoff switch on the side of the locomotive above where you put your fuel in specifically for situations like this. The switch does actually function in TSW2 and would have stopped this train promptly.

The way you've been mistreating that engine these past few days I'm not surprised it made it's escape first chance it got. That really was special. Two hours in. Brilliant.

You should have uncoupled the other engine because when you do that it stops or slows it down.
