It's nice, too nice for them not to have used the highbeat Miyota 9015 and sapphire crystal. I'd look to the ETERNA Kon-Tiki series.

Thanks for watching. I'm still enjoying the watch and wear it on a regular basis. I've a soft spot for Seiko so having a basic Seiko movement purring away inside is all good. BTW it'll be keeping me company during some snorkelling sessions in around 5 weeks time.

Do you have the same issues as the guys in Australia where a lot of the stuff released in the UK doesn't get an Australian release? I know a couple of people who have to import 4K discs from the UK.

Phew thanks for this video, I have bittersweet memories of this console because back in 1993 a schoolmate brought it to school and it did the rounds (as in there was a queue to play) I think it was you borrow it for a day and night each and then hand it over to someone else (or back to the owner). As (bad) luck would have it; when it was my turn the ribbon connector finally gave in and the screen/s weren't working anymore. I had a torrid time trying to explain to the distraught owner that I hadn't done anything out of the ordinary to it since I didn't even get to take it home. So ever since I have been trying to recall what it was called only to discover your video today, I recognize it from the distinct orange colour and that ribbon, oh that blasted ribbon lol. Anyway, thanks for the nostalgia.

My older sister had one of these and I remember playing it a lot when I was a boy back in the early 90s. It's was fun to play and I liked the clock function, which the lcd game I had of my own, while a good game, lacked. Last year I found a well used but working example of this game at a second hand pawn shop, I'm now a proud owner of something from my childhood that to me was the ultimate in coolness. I even have a collection of other LCD game units some Game and Watch, others of other makes

BRILLIANT! That looks like a wonderful store and I think I'm going to have to find an excuse to get up to it sometime. Haven't been to Manchester in years. Thank you for shooting. Hi Ken, its absolutely fine. I've had it on again a week or so ago. It just a solid watch all round and constantly crops up in my watch rotation. I think this one will be a Citizen people will be hunting for in 10 years time, it'll end up being a classic.

  • @LeShark75

Hi Turbo, the only way to shut the system down is to remove the batteries. There is a button to the right hand side of the Game A, B & Time buttons called ACL. You press that to set the time.

If you hold the battery cover after you start a game . Release the cover and disconnect the batteries for a split second returning the battery cover to its place. the result is mario freezes at the top of his jump and the barrels just fly under him. this can be done at any stage of the game however beware of girders.

Advice for you and anyone else unaware. All american class 1 railroad company's locomotives have an emergency fuel cutoff switch on the side of the locomotive above where you put your fuel in specifically for situations like this. The switch does actually function in TSW2 and would have stopped this train promptly.

A good boxed up one will or can go upto 500 € or 700 € (sealed etc), used, flap broken, bat. cover missing would be like a 100 bucks. working should fetch you 150 -170€ (2nd hand). Hard to get these from genuine buyers though, I have been scammed & ripped many a times. My 2 cents
