Update on the trialmaster . Had to put a new engine in it. Simple gy6 150-200cc replacement. Went with the one that already has the challenger transmission attached. About 750. New motor SUCKS. 3rd carburetor replacement last week. Gets about 2 weeks . 3hours runtime maybe. 1st motor failed due to my fault. Not checking the oil

***JUST A WORD OF CAUTION ON OIL CHANGING***. I have a new 2022 Trailmaster Challenger 200EX and just did the first oil change at 24 miles. I put in 30 oz of 10-W-40 synthetic and it was over full. Ran engine a little to see if that made any difference and it didn't. Had to suck out about 4 oz to get it back to the correct level. I suspect engine design changes over time may require different capacities. Not much info on these Chinese engines so just adding my personal data. By the way thanks for the video and useful info.

Thank you for the info we just got the 200ex and you made all of this changing oil so much easier well done you can not find shit on these things for service!

Thanks. Yep I thought the same. There was nothing on it. So figured I would make some for people to help out. Be sure to check the gear box oil changing video too if you need help. It needs to be done about 20 hours for the break in. They have super thick syrup type oil in it.

Change the gear oil for sure. Mine was like syrup Video Is uploading slowly

ALERT 🚨 do not I repeat do not! add a whole quart of oil when doing your own oil change on your trail master .. I just did mines earlier I have 150cc engine and i over flowed it & went up the road and it was running real sluggish so I drained it back out again and put just a little over half the bottle got back on the road & it ran a whole lot faster and better

I have the 200 challenger and it is wheel hooping on take off? At dead stop take off . It like there is something binding do you have any idea on what wrong.

I have a 2002 4 seater efi. How much AGL goes back into the gearbox? I know engine oil amount, but can't find anything on the gearbox. Thanks! I'm at 19 miles but the 2nd owner. Not sure I'd it was done at break in

Yes in manual. Be sure to Change the gear oil soon quick break in only. The stuff they put in it is like syrup. Full synthetic AGL gear oil

@@TargetTime as I understand the gearbox oil calls for 80-90 weight which is heavy and syrupy like you describe. Is there another gear lube that you use?

How many hours between oil changes? I can't find the specific manual for these. I read somewhere that you need to change the oil every 10 hours!! Seems like you would be changing the oil all the time.

After the break in change I think its 250-300 miles I will confirm with the manual tonight

Would absolutely buy it again. We've had 500lbs in it and itll go 28mph. Probably Not the happiest but it does. I been knocking down small trees in my woods making a trail for my girls last 3 months. Only negative I see is the shift linkage (I havnt actually looked at it to see how to strengthen or fix of it breaks) But the pivot point of the shifter to me feels like it won't last more than a couple years. I could be wrong though. Just feels spongy rather than stiff when shifting
