Track noob on an S1000RR at Jerez with Michelin
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Spain at the famous Jerez track on a S1000RR with Sete Gibernau! For most a track day wet dream. But if you've never done fast bike track stuff it's definitely intimidating. I've only done Supermoto track days. A 205hp sportbike is A LOT. But whatever, TIME TO DIE!

Yeah lets do it again haha
"oh yeah the tires" love it
That ducati's scrapin' hard parts like a harley
I love you content it’s very real and I belive the fact that you didn’t have to think about the tires at 100kph into eh corners says a lot about the tires! When you don’t have to think about something you can focus on others (lean, speed, lines)
Did you really get to drink with Michael Neeves?!?! Dude, that's too freaking awesome!
Jake from Spain! Living the dream buddy!
If you kept dragging the pegs on on the hypermotard you would effectually make clearance to fully lean it. The S1000rr is definitely in the top tier of superbikes. I think you handled yourself well on it

M1000RR actually, but I get the point.
Those seem to be an awesome compound, you were taking turns from the upper seventies to one hundred and forty something and the bike appeared to be glued to the track surface. That feeling has to be a great confidence boost for a rider be it on the street or on the track. Great video sir, you looked to have been having a blast.

Speed in KPH, don’t try that at 140mph
@thomasohanlon1060

@@jamie0193 still 86 mph with that lean and zero slip is still good.
@jamie0193

@@thomasohanlon1060 no doubt the tyres and bikes can perform at that level with no slip and much higher speeds in the right hands. Just making the observation that it was kph on the dash
That low hanging radiator at the front is going to last 5 minutes off road.

Well luckily they didn't have a dirt section on the track haha
I am 50, broken both knees, dislocated shoulder, stabbed through my hand, and grazed by a 38-round. I will not give up my GSXR. In fact, I want a stretched slammed ZX10. And a Supermoto to add to the garage. You can do anything you put the effort into. Also, I love Username Kate's channel. She is very fast since she does a ton of these track rides.
10:47 "That's the coolest guy in the world." I fucking died laughing! xD
Great video! Really makes me want to try some track training!
Man I feel you on the whole back thing.. I'll probably never ride or own an old car again thanks to mine.. Too many vertibrae sitting against each other with discs that have completely collapsed and doctors that just want to cover up the problem instead of actually fixing it. I can't hardly bend over without being in massive pain anymore. One good pot hole and I wouldn't be able to breathe let alone might end up on the ground.. also doesn't help that I have a broken tailbone. I fell in the garden last week after watering and my back's been giving me hell since, it moved something right up under my ribs that shouldn't have moved.. (and I fell right into a bunch of aloe) It's actually the second time I've fallen this year. I'm scared to death that one of these times I'm going to fall and my legs are going to just stop working permanently.. I already have issues where sometimes I'll go to turn and my legs stop working for a split second. Remember Jake, when doing reviews like that be as douchey as possible and talk about the experience over and over.. everything's an experience.. channel your inner Brit waxing poetic about the new Aston Martin or Jag-u-r. You don't actually have to say anything about how they work but how they make you feel :P
This Spain trip seemed like an awesome experience
Holy shit! What an amazing opportunity!

for real!
Welp, you finally got to taste 190 horsepower. But you need to do some crunches and core building. Hanging onto a machine this powerful is a lot of work, racers actually keep a pretty light touch on the bars around the bends, except when max braking before entering turns.
I wish I could rip an s1k. S22 battleaxe are way better than the michelin Road 6 tires
Neevesy would’ve been a great mind to pick about track riding. You definitely weren’t as tense through most of the last session
Do Mugello next time! This is awesome
its only once you start scraping peg on the RR that you should start focusing on leaning off lol. Some people there had their priorities wrong xD

Yeah I looking back at the footage I was like dang I was so close. Younger more flexible me use to do it with my DRZ in a parking lot. I'd just go around and around until it hit haha. But now it's so hard to be that flexible.
point toe in = win (would have had a knee down ;)
RHOK!!!
What kind of bike is at 0:34? What is the name of that?
