Him and Anthony were a huge help!
Best video to show how to drill and keep the weatherstripping intact! Thanks for saving me the frustration.
Hey Blockhead. Great vids. keep up the cool content and thanks for the how to ride videos.
Great video Blockhead. This was a very detailed video. Love your rig as well.
Hey man! just want to thank you! I just got my A license here in Sweden today and from never riding a MC and preparing via your how to ride a MC I pretty much learned everything! Thank you for your How to Ride series it helped me so much!

That's awesome, happy to hear the videos helped you out!
Great video Block. Use the "drag" settings on your drill to minimize the risk of A) stripping the screws and B) it almost acts like an impact but won't let you over tighten. Tight Taco
Great googly moogly... that truck looks so damn good. Loving these videos in addition to the motovlog "norm"! Please keep it going, Block!!

Thanks man!
Thanks for the vid! Try a hole saw bit for the spacers, it might give you a cleaner cut. Also hows the highway noise on these racks? I really want one but not sure i could deal with excessive noise
Princu have a great looking product different from the normal racks and I actually like the look of it great to see baggerbro Eric again he looks fitter than I remember
very nice! they actually make my favorite racks at the moment. Your truck is looking better and better :)

Quality racks for sure. Thanks!
On your weather stripping Did you cut bottom or top with your knife. Thanks
Where did you get the Tacoma black strips with the things sticking out
I know this video is from a few years ago, but i’m also doing a 3 inch lift. What are the wheel and tire size and offset?
Does the wind deflector touch the top of roof and risk scratching the paint? thanks.
Great vid!! A much easier and cleaner method for the holes in the weather strip is to use a 3/4” tapered punch...

Do you have a link to what kind of punch and where it coule be purchased.
HI ! My name is Anthony QUICK QUESTION DOES ANY KNOW what size the Rack would be for a 2020 Tacoma Trd pro 1.4m , 2m , 2.5m?!
Hi what kind of silicone do you use?

Hey Block Head I have a question. I purchased one of these for my Taco and the one thing that bugs me is the weather stripping. I see people installing these without the stripping. Do you regret cutting holes in the stripping or is that what you would do again? I don't think Toyota puts it back on with factory racks but what the hell do I know. You would think someone would make these or Prinsu would offer them. One other thing. Did you have your factory steels powder coated? Are those 16's or 17"s. They look damn good.
Now I need one of these racks for my Taco
Great video Blockhead, but those flat oblong nuts should be installed with the raised edge in the hole. They're made that way to hold them centered in the hole. I used similar ones for many years as a welder and they're called weld nuts used for threading thin walled tubing.

Nice, thanks for the info! I was wondering what they were called, never seen them before. Now I know for next time!
any eibach lift review soon?
What kind of silicone did you use?
I don’t own a Tacoma... but I still watched this whole thing! Very entertaining! PS don’t know if you remember us talking about a Japan 4 video (during one of your video game live streams) but I’ll have it out soon! 😬

Japan 4! haha
is this dirty sanchez???
At 7:25 I freaked out that your knife was going straight to your other hand or fingers! Be careful always cut away from you not towards you. Unfortunately I know from experience. Tacoma looks awesome!!

True that, good lookin out! The leverage to get through that stuff was better towards me in that instance but should have flipped it, haha. Thanks Jerry!
Use a 3/4" punch, no drilling. Cleaner install.
I know you've got skill, but I cringed at 7:22 cutting towards your hand! Great job on the install. I'm installing my Cali Raised cab rack this weekend. Truck looks great.
Truck looks great man! Wish we had these here in Australia

I’m a plumber you should’ve used a whole saw on the weather stripping it would’ve given you a nice clean holes Paddle bits you used make a mess just giving you a heads up

This is true! I did have a hole saw end, but it was too large. I'll make the trip to home depot for next time, the paddle bits were terrible, haha

Would the hole saw cut through the metal also or does that have to be done separately?
What liner did u use in the bed of the truck
@m0rbidr00ster6
5 жыл бұрын
Lucas Hahn tacos have a composite bed. Its not a liner. I have a bed mat in mine.
@BlockheadMoto
5 жыл бұрын
+1 on what M0rbid R00ster said, the bed is a composite and there's no metal underneath that. Suppose they're doing that now to save on weight and cost? Not sure, but it works!
The kit should come with pre drilled weather stripping
A little bit for everyone!
