I just put one of these together yesterday do yourself a favor do not put it together on the ground I used 4 sawhorses. much easier after I got the front section bolted to the two sides I supported the front with one sawhorse supported the sides each with one sawhorse and I supported the center cross bar when I got that far with one sawhorse then when sliding the rear sections into the front I supported each side with a sawhorse much easier to put together

More information about lifting it off the ground and getting legs into position is needed. It’s the difficult part I was looking for help with

I appreciate your thoughtful and clear explanation. Would it be possible to assemble this on the truck one piece at a time instead of pre-assembling the whole thing on the floor and then lifting it onto truck ? I haven't seen anyone doing it that way, but I don't have much choice about it. If it is a truly bad idea, then I might have to go another route.

It comes with the base for a pickup with canopy? Or i have to order separated?

I got 6' bed on 02 Chevy s10 will it fit?

Is there a way to get the manual to install this online? When I got my Rack it didn’t come with the manual

@@209illusion I mean it is all metal and doesn’t have any kind of protective coating for the rust lol literally just got this and we havin trouble putting it together cuz the manual we have doesn’t give the right instructions we been kinda figuring out ourselves till we found this video

This video was installed on a ram 2500 6'6" bed so they obviously make them for this truck. I have a 2018 ram 2500 cummins 6'6" bed and on the website when selecting truck model it only shows 1500. How do i order for the 2500 or are they all interchangeable and 1500 should fit a 2500?

I’m real late to the party, but I see this is still on the market and was curious how easy it is to pull the back portion off once installed to use a fifth wheel or gooseneck trailer and then replace when done?

It would be best to remove the whole rack for s gooseneck or 5th wheel. Hope that helps!

This might be too long and probably put too much weight on your front end. I do believe they make a version of these for smaller trucks.

I have this rack I bought from a friend but I am missing the clamps for it. Any idea where I can just buy the clamps individually?

Wish I ran across this video last night started at 4pm and finished putting together at 12 at night. Instructions are not that great showing you like thus video I kept having to take it apart 4 times to slide certain pipes or bolts were in wrong holes.

Can this ladder rack support a roof top tent!?

I assume it would. Mine has a 1000 lb rating. With 2 people at maximum 250 lbs max each plus the tent shouldn't be over 750 lbs.

Depends on your tonneau cover, but anything that goes above the rails or uses the rail holes for mounting(most all) the answer is no.
