Toyota is reportedly expanding its lineup in America by introducing a new edition of the Corolla in pickup form. This move is seen as a direct response to compete with the Ford Maverick. The model is expected to be launched in 2025, according to a report by Car and Driver, which has unveiled some of Toyota's upcoming models for the American market.

PLease make a hybrid version where we can take down the midgate like a chevy avalanche.
Corolla sedan,corolla hatchback,corolla cross,corolla pickup truck,then the next is corolla mini Van
how could it be a compact when it is going to be larger than the hilux which is a mid-size pick-up?
Make a 2 seat version with a longer bed that can be utilized to haul things. Otherwise other manufacturers will win this battle. Also have an AWD version for snow ❄️ and Ice 🧊 .. then you will dominate this space!

Rumor has it that you can get a hybrid all-wheel drive version Corolla pickup in the future. It's supposed to be about $38,000 fully loaded! I'm excited because I'm in my Ford ranger still and it rides like crap! The best mileage of four cylinder manual transmission ever recorded was about 22.5 m.p.g.

I like the idea of a longer bed ...after owning a ranger regular cab with no place to even put one bag of groceries I don't think I'd buy a regular cab pickup again ever!
