It sits quite well up till 230 on the highway where it‘s electronically limited due to the diff and it really pulls at 220 like it could go easily up to 260. also suspension is so much better and high speed stability than my M2competition. Both cars are fully stock.

So they dialed things back a bit then sent Nobuteru Taniguchi to drive the car around Tsukuba where it did a 58.5 second lap pretty much on the first try. See: qFHxA9zW5tk

Misha, you look invincible in this Yaris with the 4th gear working. Literally you look in complete peace thrashing it at and beyond its absolute limit. Power and chassis seem to match perfectly, kudos to the owner and the guys who built it.

There was two sections there(sorry unsure of the names) where Misha was as quick or slightly quicker from 100-190 with no 4th gear than with it! Lol. Clearly it missed 4th gear in places but the flexibility of that little engine blew me away.

I have and love my GR Yaris. All I can say is imagine if this 3 cylinder was a 4 cylinder... Everyone is comparing a 3 cylinder engine to 4 and 6 cylinder cars. It would literally demolish everything put in it's path. Akio, if you (or one of your staff) read this comment, please please please give this little 3 cylinder engine a 4 cylinder big brother.

Personally Toyota engines have been well designed... Then getting this little model spec'd out was just satisfying to watch. Not often you see Misha in a Toyota, but when it's built right he's blown away. So glad you did the second lap 👍🏻
