We sure hope you do and have not just one or two, but three of these beautiful Land Cruisers soon :)

I have compared both cars test drive and finally went with VXR 5.7. Interior and ambience will not last for ever due to changes and preffernces in market. What matters is the Solid Engine and performance which lasts long . As the narrator mentions you will not hear any rattles from LC even it is 2 decades old.. It is not the same case with Patrol. If you are looking for a big size suv with immediate power which push you ahead from the traffic signal and indulge in the interiors and Generous space of second row and thirs row perhaps Nissan Patrol sould be your choice. Ifyou want a reliable 4 / 4 which you are planning to keep for atleast 10 years then LC any time better. The suspension quality ,heaviness amd the quiet cabin ,Reliable ever engine puts LC above all.....

I have just finished 10k on my 5.7 VXR 2020. What an amazing car. The new performance Damper is exceptional and it gives you same feel of a LX 570. Cornering capabilities have improved in 2020 and the quiteness of cabin is also something showing up in latest model. Its a pricey car but yes is LC 5.7..

You must compare complete stats of nissan and land cruiser. Lc is less weighed while nissan is a little bit larger. Therefore,its engine is perfectly compatible with its body size. Secondly I don't think so that 30 nm does make a big difference.

[Zaran] Hi Zakaullah, Thank you for sharing your feedback but we don't want to get very technical in the reviews, because our goal is to be understood by all age groups and people who know both, a lot and nothing about cars as well. Having said that, you are correct the 30Nm is not much of a difference but the LC and Patrol are very different to drive and that's what was pointed out in the review. It could be because of the gearing, the weight, or simply because of how the engine revs.

I am just wondering if the 5.7 V8 sitting under the hood feels underpowered, what good would the 4.0 and 4.6 V6 motors be ? The Land Cruiser in desperate need of a makeover and should be added with some modern features and premium looking elements on the inside to make it feel special and worth the money. As a family mover, it does a good job but I believe, there again, the Patrol just excels. It also has more punch to offer at an affordable price which makes it better than the LC. Great video!!

Yes I agree. I am having 2020 5.7 Vxr. Its pricey and bit under rated in Touch screen quality' lack of ambient lighting and all. Its such a reliable car and the ride quality is superb. 5.7 seems Ok when u shift to Sports mode and normal mode but yes it is under powered when you co pare with its immediate competirion. Reliability and engine performance any time better inLC

Hey, Between the two, it would have to be the Nissan Patrol if looking at the overall package. Sure there are certain things the Land Cruiser will be better at, but on the whole, the Patrol wins our vote.

Hi Andrea, Yes the current Y62 Nissan Patrol. By "new" I assume you're referring to the face-lifted 2020 model? The engine remains untouched in the update, it's just a cosmetic change for the most part.

@@tanvirina Yes Nissan Patrol is a great car as well. I had test drive both atleast 7 times and finally went with LC 5.7 VXR. As the narrator said above you will not hear any rattles for decades which is not true with Patrol. I have discussed with more than 5 workshop guys and they all voted for LC for its reliabilty post 75k Kms. What ever be the tech difference interior ambience which Patrol has an upper edge end of the day what matters is a reliable one..LC has definitely an upper edge as old it gets...

Worst part is waiting so long to fill up a tank jus to get over so soon

Hi Andrea, We do get a few Diesel options but they are restricted to the commercial segment, such as the Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi L200 and bigger trucks. At the end of the day, the bottom line is that Diesel is quite a bit more expensive than petrol in the UAE, which is why most manufacturers and buyers prefer petrol over diesel.

It can't be Japanese those suckers are making land cruiser in only 4.6L V8 and meter is limited to 180Kmph and top speed is 190 max

These middle-eastern spec front and rear bumpers are stupid. It makes the approach and departure angle worse. And let's not even begin talking about the LX570 running board.

Hey Electrikoptik, Yup, they definitely eat into the Land Cruiser's off-road ability but then again this is a dealer-modified road-focused version of the SUV. The standard Land Cruiser available here does get much better approach and departure angles.
