Correction; it is the 4.5 V8 Turbo diesel. The 5.7 you mentioned is the Petrol version sold in the US, Middle Eastern and other markets. Local spec Land Cruisers are powered by the 4.5 Turbo diesel generating 232 HP and 615 nm of torque. The wheelbase on the Nissan Patrol is way above 3,000mm the wheelbase of the Land Cruiser is the same as the Toyota Fortuner at 2,850mm

No Nissan patrol no diesel landcruiser in the US cost of landcruiser in the US $90 thousand expensive SUV

hi reph... good review of the landcruiser... lol your right it's very strange to not have a backup camera on a vehicle this expensive. I'm very curious to see an in depth review of a jeep grand cherokee. I know the grand cherokee is sold in the philippines but strangely if you go to jeep.ph they don't list the grand cherokee among their vehicles. I'd be very curious to see a good review on the 3.0L diesel version of the grand cherokee. I find it puzzling that there isn't one on youtube... if you have any info/insight as to why there is a lack of information/ reviews on the jeep plz let me know... thanks

i think the button that you found is for heating, it raises the rpm to about 1200 rpm, it engages the the pump to heat up the engine coolant so that you can get the heating quicker, good for cold countries.

@8:40 toyota uses them only for diesel, to make your car warm quicker. its useful when your in a cold country.

We were actually considering the standard LC 200 before, but the cost cutting measures of Toyota PH put us off. No folding side mirrors on a 4.3M SUV? Unbelievable. The full option one on the other hand is pretty good.

It's funny how people would complain that this is the most expensive SUV, where you have the Cadillac Escalade and Land Rover that's just as expensive and cost more! I would purchase this vehicle anytime and any day over any domestic and foreign in it's class!!!!! None of them have Toyota QDR! QUALITY, DEPENDABILITY, and RELIABILITY! PERIOD!

I think the 5.7 liter LC variant is for petrol engine only. The diesel engine displacement is 4.5 liter only. Kindly clarify?

Sir kapag tumaas ang hp bibilis pero mahina ang torque.. Unlike ng mbb ang hp pero dumadagunot ang torque kaya hilahin paatras ang Patrol ng LC ng walang kahirap hirap. Pero gaya ng sinabi nyo parehas ko sila gusto.. Dbest full size suv.

Buluran Michael True, ang LC mas lakas sa torque (650NM) compara sa Patrol Royale (560NM). I love both SUVs but more for Patrol Royale because of the comfort it offers and powertrain 👍

Sa pilipinas luxury, sa Dubai utility. Sasakyan ng mga oil rig workers. Pero for me suntok sa buwan pa rin magkaroon ng ganito. Multicab lng kaya ko. Lol 😅😅😅

Tutoo yan mahal masyado...sa halagang 4.8 million tinanggal reverse camera daig pa ng montero at mazda cx5..hindi lang yun ang stance niya parang tipaklong masyado mataas rear suspension klangan palitan mo pa ng dubai coil spring para bumaba rear suspension..ang pangit talaga tipaklong ang itsura....

Thanks kurin offroad provided me 19,000 pesos for LC 200.

Try to be accurate with your terminology. For example, if you read the manual, it will give you the correct names for the features of the car. I assure you many viewers care about this. Another example is that H4 and L4 are not "speed controls" and it's not just for the mountains. Again, that information is in the owner's manual which you could have read first. It's not really a lot to ask--after all, you are reviewing the car "in-depth". Cheers!

Nissan Patrol’s wheelbase is 3075mm Nissan Patrol has more horsepower, more width, more height and wheelbase compared to the Land Cruiser. And is about 800,000 pesos cheaper The only diff is it is petrol and not diesel. Please correct your captions.

I guess its not worth the price, although it has a bigger engine that puts it in the 5.0 category, its overkill for city traffic in the philippines. Plus, with and an interior like that they could have done better on the guages, buttons and infotainment system of the car of the car. It feels outdated inside and out for a 2018 car. Just an opinion though. Would fit the taste of other consumers especially those wanting something with a classic taste.

Also, if the owners of the cars you review will allow, test driving on different road condition and how it performs would be a great addition to content. on and off road, mud, gravel, sand, wet, dry, climbs and descend, ease of parking for nose in and out. would like to see an in depth review of range rover evoque and ford explorer soon. hehe

@Shadow Hedgehog The Dubai version is cheaper by about Php 500k. the issue arises when it comes to servicing and warranty. Toyota Philippines will not service Dubai version LC200 unless you pay royalties for about 300k. otherwise you just service it by mechanic of choice. (considering the amount of buying an LC!!!) the inconvenience outweighs the little extra features the Dubai version offers. but yet again this depends on individuals.

Seriuosly , Toyota needs urgent modernization , it looks like an old vehicle , the “luxury” it have is very humble . The European and even the US made suvs looks better in luxury and design. Needs a refresh honestly.
