Very keen to understand its target customer segment

I've put on 1200 miles on my 2024 bZ4x fwd. Range is pretty set on with city miles, once you get on the highway speed over 65 mph or up a steep hill it greatly affects it. I don't use the HVAC system since the weather here in California is perfect. Trust me the build quality , fit and finish is way superior to my 2023 Tesla Model 3

Efficiency is still the big negative in the BZ4X, so reviewers say you only achieve 50% of quoted range.

What a dumb comment, 200 cars could have had that problem, pre production cars..... of course it has been solved. Already 85.000 bz4x cars are produced...

@@avdp9095 200 cars, yes, but they were customers’ cars in the US and Toyota had to buy them all back because it was taking so long to solve the problem.

It is bait to get buyers into the showroom, then flog an ICE or hybrid vehicle.

Despite what the media says, thus is a good EV, 10 years warranty on batteries and given small battery pack a good range. 2nd bestselling car in Norway, nr 1 EV market in Europe....

Wait... leasing costs $1700 per month over 36 months. That's $61,200, and you own nothing. Have to return the car. Or just buy it for $66,000. I know people in high income brackets use novated leasing to save on tax, unless you pay 47% income tax it's an insanely bad deal.

Toyota is an ice \ hybrid expert, not an EV expert . It's not a given that this will be reliable especially considering Subaru helped build this

Don't buy EV vehicle but buy diesel engine is the best

Toyota are selling the base model BZ4X in China for about $30,000AUD less! Toyota takes Australians for mugs. Vote with your feet refuse to buy this overpriced Chinese EV. If you want a good EV made in China go with the Tesla. This is a cynical price gouging exercise by Toyota.

BZ4x sold in China is only manufactured in China. For Japan, Europe, Australia, and North America...they are manufactured in Japan.

Trash car. Wheels fell off in first month of release and had massive recall. Range is much much lower than what is quoted. Noticed that reviewer didnt mention what his real world range was in testing. Toyota also spending lots of money to lobby Aust govt to allow for dirty engine cars with much lower efficiency compared to EU and Asia. Looks like they want Aust to continue to be a dumping ground for their trash cars they cant sell to EU or US. This car was released in 2022 and is only coming to Aust now for a reason.
