It's not laziness. I grew up in an area where dumping like this happened. It was pretty much just poverty and the fact that people couldn't afford to pay for garbage service. When the choice is between paying for garbage service and your children having food and diapers, most people will just choose to dump. Garbage service should be free for all, otherwise we will always face this sort of dumping behavior.

Same here. I do what I can around here. But being disabled makes it hard. Truly wish I could do more. If everyone could just pick up 5 pieces of a trash a day, it would make a huge difference. But people are either too lazy, don't care or don't think it's their problem. And it's really sad. We cleaned up by the riverfront and playground the other day. Someone asked me why. Asked them what looked better. Trash everywhere or cleaned up. They walked awa6

Everyone could take 60 minutes out of their week and do work together with their neighbors. Does it bother your eyes to see dirt? It would also be educational for children to see their parents move towards a common cause.

Everyone is so glad that you cleaned up their neighborhood. Why didn’t someone help pick up the trash? The other thing that I can’t figure out is WHY? Why do they throw their trash on someone’s property? Don’t they have garbage service? How come the city allows it? Crazy to me. Great job! Thank you Sean for caring about your community! 🤗🤗🤗~Becka

I clean my neighborhood every day when I'm out walking my dog. There's an area a block or so outside my neighborhood that is always so dirty with trash all in the gutters and yards. I started making an effort to clean it up little by little every week. I'm making progress, but it's a lot of work. It's terrible how people don't care. I keep hoping they will see how good it looks cleaned up and continue my work.

Exactly what I was thinking. I live in Oklahoma where we have sand and red dirt. When we find black soil, that someone is about to haul off to a landfill, we take it home for planting in our gardens. Best soil around. I actually have some in my yard, under my big tree, where there is also tons of worms. I discovered the black soil, just after I bought this house, while edging my driveway. I'm going to just plant flowers there because taking up too much would start showing the tree feeder roots. Have a blessed day 😊
