Touring QA1’s 100,000 sq/ft Facility! (They even have a basketball court 👀)
Thanks @QA1TECH for having us for a day to check out your incredible facility!
QA1 has been a brand that we’ve had the chance to work with for many years and we’ve actually been trying to make this trip up to tour happen, for a few years. Dad, Megan, and I had the chance to fly up for a day and see the space where all of the in-house manufacturing, design and innovation, shipping, and behind the scenes work happens. We were incredibly impressed by how nice not only the facility is but also by the amount of knowledge, car oriented employees they have and how forward thinking they are. DT was like a kid in a candy story looking at parts and machines. Come along and get the exact same tour we did - I think you’ll be impressed as well!
Up next will be a dedicated video on how QA1’s Mod-Series shocks are made and how they work.

making a product is always worth watching!
Awesome tour. Thanks QA1 for opening up your doors to the public.
We put a QA1 full K member suspension under our 68 Charger last summer, we took the old one off and installed the QA1 in less than a day! Everything bolted up perfectly. Being a retired manufacturing manager I did kinda geek out a little while watching the tour.
When an hr n 20min video felt like 38min you did good Alex n Meg. Loved this one because people doubt the aftermarket suspension kit I use until they hear it using QA1. Then all is "Thumbs Up"
Thank you, Alex for taking us along on the tour of QA1. A lot of info, on the products an the Quality!!
What a awesome company made in America love it
As a hotrodder myself with QA1 components on my car both front and rear as well as being a certified CNC machinist for a major hydraulics corporation for the last 16 years, this video was awesome. Thank you guys for bringing this content to us.
The mike's worked great. Even in that noisey environment, your voices come through with clarity. Thank you!
Thanks for the inside tour Alex and Dennis , that was so interesting !!! We should keep our work here the U.S. Always looking forward to your videos !! 😃
Great tour, the young man giving the tour really knows his stuff, a great job!
I really enjoyed this one I hope you do more of these.
AWESOME behind the scene tour of QA1!!!
Thank you princess ❤and Dennis🔥👍 for the tour ok see you all later really great products I've been running them for years
OMG incredible factory! ❤😊
Alex & Dennis, as a computer professional I found this video interesting due to the CNC & Robotics applications. Presumably they are also using CAD CAM on the front end. Also Alex, your outtakes are cute--keep them up. 🙂
Dave Kass! Glad he gave the Taylors a nice tour of QA1.
Thanks Meg for a great video
Excellent job, this video was very informative and interesting. Thanks
Thanks for the tour Alex and it is awesome 👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻🙌🏻👏🏻
Thanks for this video Alex. I live 8 miles from the plant. I wondered what it was like inside.
I am in the middle of installing the QA-1 front and rear coil over conversion kit on a 1972 Ford F-100. I been cutting off all the old suspension brackets and crossmembers, the going to paint the frame. The clarity of the directions is awesome and the parts quality are great. Have also installed many of their components on C2 and C3 Corvettes. Extremely happy with their product and fit! Video was awesome!
I deliver pre fabbed material to them a few times a week and they are amazing! Love everyone there. Would have been awesome if I seen you there. Hope you are having fun in Minnesota!!
NOW THAT WAS SO INTERESTING I ENJOYED IT. AND I HAVE HAD THERE SHOCKS ON MY RACE CAR. !!!
One of my favorite parts of Alex's posts is how she talks with her hands, and arms, and body, and eyes...and everything else that moves. Great presentation style and stellar confidencee. Good job, Alex!
Great job Alex and Dennis
Cool shop. Now invite him to Dennis's shop and show him how things are made with a hammer and a screwdriver! 😁👍

Thank you for showing us that very awesome place
*_Love the bloopers at the end !_* 😂😂
Thank you for this video, now I know that QA1 is not "only" a shock absorbers co! Denis and Alex is a H&H team...Hands & Head team meaning complementary and the best of it is that it's a family affair!
First time coming across this channel, gotta say, a real refreshing change seeing a factory tour with you guys who are clearly invested and interested in what is going on, but also with a host who knows everything about what goes on in the factory... Brilliant
QA1 has a very good spokesperson
that shop tour was awesome down to earth comments back and forth alex tayor is the best.
Only 6.45 min in I'm thumbs up and jealous!! Talk on Dennis!!, great questions and info for us Alex! Thanks again for taking us along!
After the tour I'm thankful I put QA1 on my custom build and you have help me get past a flat spot, and back on the build.
july, 20, Dennis Taylor's new truck! I have been wanting to see the truck forever. Alex, did your dad get a new Keychain! really enjoy your videos. thanks to Alex, Dennis, and Meg, thank you.
Thanks for the great tour. Nice to hear that the COE project is nearing completion. I hope a update video is coming soon. Thx
Awesome vid, sub spindle hand offs require synchronization to prevent gauling of the part. Very nice shop.
What a great video!! Thank you QA1 and the Taylors!!! Great job, so much info and fun!
What an amazing place, great job covering it all. Nice to see where all my stuff got built!
Awesome tour of that fantastic facility. It’s great to see the engineering and manufacturing sector get some exposure. I think that a lot of people just order, receive, open the box and fit parts with not a single clue about what went in to getting that part made and in their hands. One more thing Alex, I feel the same way about golf bats…. I don’t know one end from the other. 😂
19:15 if only Dennis had a third daughter to run the boom mic… that exchange was wearing Alex out 😂😂
That was a great video and tour , you and your dad are so enjoyable to watch, of course your beauty adds to the enjoyment ❤❤❤
THANK YOU. Very informative I had not really heard of them now i know where to get quality parts.
Awesome people, I love that the people are actually users and participate in reasearch and development. Alex and Dennis are really good ambassadors for the product!
Loved the green Rat Fink shirt on the second worker you talked to. You drive much better than you shoot baskets Alex.
Very interesting Alex, thank to you and Dennis for the tour
Having built industrial buildings for the last 25 + years of my working life the biggest being 1.4 million square feet of automated material handling included in the manufacturing of rail wheels I am impressed by rhe cleanliness. Your whole team has to be on board for that to work Well done QA1. I confess I have Vikings on the front and QA1's on the rear of my 50 F1. this is a cool tour. One last note the only word in the english language that is almost undefinable is QUALITY. The definition of quality is often a circular discription.
I really enjoyed this whole video. What an amazing place 😀
Awesome tour and video, I learned they make a lot more then shocks.😁👍👍
Building Quality into the process is Quality Assurance. Quality Control happens after the fact, after the process. Both safe time and money. Assurance is the first ongoing step to safe time and money.
I am surprised you didn't notice those Blue Pannels with the Brooms and Dust Pans like a Clean Up Stations, it just looked like a good idea 👌
Great video. What an incredible manufacturing facility.
I sold EdgeCAM software for several years and the things you can do and see engineering on the computer is Amazing. But watching the CNC machine's do the actual work is mind blowing things I could watch for hours.
Dennis let er eat bud. I came to this channel looking for role models for my daughter and found one myself. Anything we can learn is great!
I think 💭 Dennis is gonna change shops/jobs after seeing this toy store LMAO 😂
I go through the twin cities at least 2times a month . One day I will have to stop in and see the place for myself. Thank you Alex and Dennis for taking us with you on the tour !!
Awesome tour
Great video , really enjoyed the tour
Great tour.
That was so awesome 🔥ATR🔥
Hey Alex, i believe if you order the same mic kit, they second kit will link to you current one since they should be on the same frequency. Might be something to look into for instances like this or ease for you guys.
Awesome video! I hope you guys do come up for street machines it’s an amazing event!
Im sorry i cant hear a word said....Alex youre perfect😍😍😍😍😍
That's a great video! I geeked out watching it like Dennis, and I wasn't even there!
American manufacturing .... HELL YEAH!!!
Awesome video guys
DMG MORI is based in Pfronten, Germany. They have an annual open house in late January or early February. I've been once. You should go if you enjoy CNC machinery.
Very cool! I drive by this place everyday but have never been inside. Maybe someday
Awesome tour video, so sad they are in the north. Did I hear that the COE is close to being completed? Every video in the shop I try to see where it is. Last time I saw it I think it was painted, maybe a burgundy. It looked really good that color, can’t wait to see it done.
Great products great people!
You guys are great love you all
Alex Taylor is simply mesmerizing 😮 you are one pretty lady 💯😍💯🔥
Aware your video has the letters *QA,* none-the-less reminded me of a college *Quality Control class* - field trip; arranged by our course instructor, to visit an x-ray lab / company, (appearing to do mainly aircraft part inspections). For example, they showed the test results of a part inspected by the Magnaflux process, verses X-Raying a part, for fatigue / heat - cracks. (Like a jet fan blade). Thanks for this video.
37 seconds is very impressive, I sent Alex an e-mail 3 months ago and never got answer!
Really enjoyed this, especially the drive shaft part, We know that high HP drag cars can wreck just about anything, harmonics, etc. I'm actually one lucky guy. Back in about 1975, I was running F/MP and lost a drive shaft when hitting 5th gear. It tore the whole inside of the car apart, I was pulling on the steering wheel as hard as I could to get away from it, it chopped the corner off my seat bottom. This is a MAJOR safety improvement, of course back then I was not even phased except for the fact that I had to pay for another one. Mom did a lot of praying LOL!
wow.this was cool .hey when are you running the 55 again???
Wow that was cool
I can't wait
Great tour! Unsure about drive shafts being better with that stuff, example, the submarine of the titanic or shafts breaking or degrading in years of operation, and even air liners being made of it, has a weak point of bondage too.
I personally like king for off road and viking for drag racing I don't know if they have changed over the years but I didn't have very good results in the past with QA1
They make it sound like they just really do some serious racing never see them at some big races just sick week or something like that
I have all there products on my suspension. Great products. But when I used there call in center for upgrading a discontinued part. The person kinda was a little condescending until they knew I had all there products on my suspension. Then they were much better about answering my questions. I still use there products... and will keep on.
Dennis and Alec make there own stuff
Keep asking him questions Dennis! I would be doing same thing.
I had no idea qa1 was this kind of operation!
i want a QA1 carbon fiber driveline for my 1969 javelin .. when im done building it ......been doing/making laying up /infusion/milling/ect carbon fiber for 30+yrs from motorcycle heal guards to f-35 parts -- its a great composite and its crazy how the different resins/epoxys are such a crazy SECRET -- its funny to me
Father and son good team
Wow!
That’s it, next time I build a car I’m buying my parts from these guys.
Made in America is a VERY important aspect to me !
July 19th! My wife and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary that evening. We were married on Dennis’s birthday! How cool is that? AND, we are in Lakeville, Indiana. Small world.
I’m very curious to know what rpm they spin the driveshafts up to for balancing?
The gentleman at the sway bar station looks like he could bend those suckers by hand 💪

Excellent microphone 🎤 skills! I can hear you fine. Lol
Cool

Thinking Nickky Bobby would be friggin’ giddy, if y’all had brought him along…
