Excellent podcast. As you guys and gal were talking about 'time',, I'm 77, Wife and I raised 5 young'ns, we have 9 Grandkids and I can tell you this (you've heard it before),, TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE. Do fun stuff, earn what you need to earn BUT,, don't go so fast you overlook those tiny moments in life most of us who are elders WISH we had. Thanks for having Nikki and Alex aboard this video,, both of them are a couple of my favorite folks. I've been their fans for a few years and always enjoy watching what they're up to. I've heard of Tin Soldiers for quite a few years but until this podcast I had never watched one of your videos. Thanks for all your company does for the racing community,, really,, Thank YOU!

You need to work on the sound and set up a bit, Alex is way too quiet and Nicky breathing and coughing over her.

A lot of cool stories. I first met Alex and her family at Drag Week 2012. Me and a friend flew over from Holland just to experience Drag Week. Unfortunately we didn't have the funds to ship a car over at the time, but we had a blast following all week in our rental car. I did this for a couple of years and in 2016 I pulled the trigger on shipping my own car over to the US. I was going to ship my '69 Dart over. It has a twin turbo 318 on alcohol and efi. I built that combo back in 2001 and know all about what Nick was saying about his first turbo car, that it wouldn't work etc. That's what they all said to me too back then. Anyway, I had too many things to sort out to be able to ship the Dart over, so ended up shipping my bright yellow '69 Camaro with a 327ci N/A motor. It wasn't going to win anything or set any records, besides being the only Dutch guy (still to this day) to have shipped a car over to the US for a drag 'n drive. My wife and I loved it and it was the best vacation ever.

Alex, so when is there going to be a new video on your shop?

GREAT Podcast. Alex and Nick are such Inspirational young people. The wisdom they are gaining at their age is amazing and they so willingly share with others.

everything Nick said is exactly why im wanting to get into drag n drives. the drag and drive community is some of the best dudes in the car community in my opinion. Theres just something about driving a 1500hp+ car thousands of miles away from home. Hope to start my build in the spring. trying to build a twin turbo ls 3rd gen. hope to be a bottom 7 second car. and it may or may not fit big floppys.

Nick is a huge part of windowing nearly every junkyard LS in the state of Indiana.. Can't count how many times I saw that maliboost in a plume of smoke.. Glad to see you in a good place and happy!!

Great interview. With some good laughs.. nice to hear the stories behind the lives..The Taylor family are my favorite car family on the planet..couldn't ask for a better competitor/ spokesperson than Alex !.. Nick has a great story also.. Bright future for both ahead..

I was racing at Hub City drag strip back in the 90s we were down to the finals against a 72 Pontiac Ventura and I was in 72 Nova the driver of the Ventura asked to split I said I guess so, his wife started laughing at me like she knew I was losing this round and I'd take whatever I could get, so the next weekends we were back down to the finals again so I walked up to him kindly and asked do you want to split, and his wife said heck no you're not getting any of our money free loader, I replied that's fine with me I was just being neighborly and when got first agine that big crap eating smile that was on her face went south 😅

Excellent Drag Race couple to interview on your podcast. Alex Taylor is a wonderful young lady and an awesome racer . She is definitely a great example for young ladies. Nicky Bobbie is the opposite of what he projects. Contrary to what people think, he is an intelligent, talented young man.

i think talking about how fast time travels was interesting. like nick was saying about the floor, i had one of those moments recently while looking through snapchat memories. its freaky how that feels. and how when you're a kid you want time to fly so you can be an adult. now i just want it to stop moving so fast.... crazy.

Nick, I'm so happy for you and Alex! When I started to see you there in AR or wherever, I was routing for you for sure brother! You had been deserving of a strong willed, straight up woman who would have your back, and keep your ass in line, lol j/k, but honestly it seems like you've 'grown up' in the last year quite a bit! Alex, I'm happy for you 2! You're an amazing woman, and the fact you like cars is a cherry on top! The way you can build a Glide is just sexxy a.f too!!😂
