It amazes me how these developers charge so much for these "modern" and "luxury" homes where you can literally reach out of the window and touch the house next door. I bet the backyard is small as well considering that the homes are so densely packed. For almost 2 million dollars I would want much more privacy.

Hi Ms. Cynshe, thanks for your feedback here. I can see your frustrations and I wouldn't say they're unmerited. Unfortunately I believe this builder had to work with what they had. As you get closer into any big city, it becomes difficult to build out, hence why things are usually built up like skyscrapers and the tall apartment buildings. Charlotte has recently been recognized as the 3rd fastest growing city in the US so it's understandable for prices to be on the rise. I do value my privacy as well so I completely see with you; I would just buy a bit outside the city.

OMG, my dream home. Gorgeous! I love how the builder utilized the open space with the stairs. I wish I had seen it sooner.

Nice, but too commercial for me. Looks like a doctor's office building.

You know Charlotte's made it when $1.6 million gets you a home overlooking $200,000 houses and the freeway.

Hi M Stewart, thanks for your feedback here. Charlotte has recently been recognized as the 3rd fastest growing city in the US so it's understandable for prices to be on the rise. There isn't much "land" in the uptown Charlotte area, which forces builders to become creative with the space. I would advice anyone that now is the time to invest in the Charlotte market. It will only keep growing.

Hi Victoria this house is gorgeous and 21st-century modern, love the unique light fixtures I would have never guessed that as it looks like hanging art pieces. I have been watching a few of your videos and it great to see what Charlotte has to offer in the real estate market, I live in Canada and have family down there and I can say it is a lot of square footage for the price = good deal.

This would be a 3 million dollar home in LA or NY would be even more expensive at 5 or 6 mil. Great price, no land but everything is fair. I’m 35 mins out from Charlotte so anything within 5 mins to uptown isn’t a good location to me 😝 the crime rate is horrible. I hate to even go to CLT anymore. 😥

@@breckrichardson390 This house is right across the street from the projects so you’ll have plenty of neighbors to look out for you ...and a lively street scene ripe with a combination of homeless (unfortunately) , drug abusers (unfortunately)and winos (unfortunately) ... I’m sure this will vanish in time as the neighborhood is being aggressively gentrified to make room for the wealthy while displacing those less fortunate.... But hey that’s the american way 🇺🇸 ...

Nice home, good presentation. The home has too many stairs and I can guarantee people living in the home will get tired of them. If you are going to have 4 levels in a home it should have an elevator. I’m in Irvine, ca and homes like this in this price range have private elevators in the home.

You are exactly right...The more you get closer to the city the amount of land diminishes but if you go on outskirts of uptown Charlotte you get a bigger bang for your buck...😊

Victoria did a great job as always showcasing this house. But I'm sorry they are robbing people with a ski mask and a gun in Charlotte. This is gentrification at its finest.. Building new houses right next door to old homes and probably trying to push those people out. Smh. Ladies and gentlemen this is a $600,000 house that they are trying to get almost $2 million dollars because its located in uptown Charlotte by the bank offices.. This is not an almost $2 million dollar house! Small kitchen, small basement, only a 2 car garage....at almost $2 million dollars this house should have at least 3 garages and be sitting on at least a 1 acre lot. No backyard, small bedrooms, small living room, and a cookie cutter house. If you can afford to pay $1.6 million for a house please buy it in Miami where this type of money will get you a house on the water. If these big banks ever pack up and leave Charlottes robbery and economy is finished!

At almost $2 million dollars anyone buying a home in that price range will expect Wolfe or Miele appliances, a refrigerator, bigger rooms, a 3 car garage and a big piece of land. But the developers who build these houses get away with robbing people here in Charlotte because we keep buying these houses.

Nice house but for 1 million, but the closets in the master suite should've been much bigger and had a soaking bathtub too.

I think it's just a large home. Mansions have a luxury factor attached to them and due to the proportions of things (door widths, living space size vs size of bedrooms, etc), as well as the home's detailing (HVAC grilles everywhere, layout issues, lack of privacy due to layout issues, etc)...I just don't find this house luxurious at all. Definitely not worth the price.

Only one tub in the whole house? I would have to take some of the owner's oversized shower and put a free standing tub in. For that price I shouldn't have to. Otherwise a nice home.

That living room has the charm of a hospital waiting room. I never liked the Jetsons btw.

I want to know hows the job market down Charlotte I mean let me know. Are they making money like the folks in D.C. Charlotte has become really expensive and no jobs paying no money down there to be charging 1.6 million for this house.

Too much for N.C., you can go 20 miles and get the same thing for 800k

And it’s only a 5 min drive from tent city and all the homeless camps

I took a DoorDash around there, I think it was that same exact house

The location is nice. A lot of home and space for the money. I don't/like those large farmhouse sinks. I prefer two medium-size sinks in the kitchen. I don't like that extra space in the kitchen near the pantry; that space could have been used for something more functional. The large counter in the first bath is a waste of space as well. I say give me a medium-size counter and move the toilet over so it won't be so close to the shower. I like the concept of the closet in the owner's suite. I'm single so the oversized double shower concept is just weird to me. Overall, nice property, and I would purchase it; however, I would have to do some renovations immediately.

i have so much to say. this is such a nice home but not worth the price for NC. First off the kitchen/bar and wine areas could’ve all been left out and brought the price tag down by a lot🤦🏽‍♂️

I'm sure you are a nice young lady but, you need to learn more in your videos. When you walked into the quarter bathroom you said something about waterfall. The only waterfall counter is the one in the kitchen. Also the sink in the kitchen is not a farmhouse sink. Farmhouse sinks have an big front overflow. That sink is an undermount one sink. The bedroom that you call the owners bedroom is called a master suite. How big are those tiles? How bout showing the ovens and top oven. Is there a convection oven or just double?

I'm sure someone from out of town will buy it and I hope you're able to sell it and soon. ❤ But in reality, we know this home isn't worth it that much. This is Charlotte, NC! Not San Diego. 🤦🏾‍♀️ The seller/builder is selling this home at this price because of the location and the FUTURE up and coming area the house is located in. You can buy a full blown mansion with a pool and lots of land for less than $1M here in Charlotte. Charlotte is not expensive, but its starting to become more expensive because of builders like this. Smh. They are coming in, buying entire neighborhoods and blocks, "modernizing" the homes or building "modernized" apartments buildings then charging California prices for them. Smh. Anywho, I wish you the best. 🙏🏾

Thanks for the feedback Camilla, Yea I can see that. I definitely agree that the further away you get from the city center, the more you could buy in theory. But as you said, these prices are set based on the current demand of the city.
