All my years of campaigning for Pharaoh have worked off: Mesopotamia and Greece are here!!!

In terms of the content you can expect to experience, prepare to embark on a conquest across a map that has greatly increased in size as we add the renowned and highly requested regions of Mesopotamia and the Aegean to the conflict alongside the playable cultures of Babylon, Assyria, Mycenae and Troy. Whilst within the strategic campaign layer, you will have access to all new mechanics such as the Dynasty system which adds mortality and succession to the faction leaders’ quest to leave behind a legacy that will survive the ages. And finally, within battle you can expect over 80 new units for the Mesopotamian factions, alongside the addition of over 70 reworked units from a Total War Saga: TROY.
Finally, we have it in the game with a smaller campaign map representing the Bronze Age. I literally never settled for a small Bronze Age game in the first place. The sagas for me have not worked, and the reason is simple: When you give us smaller settings, then at what point would they work? A proper saga title should focus on Alexander's Campaigns, the Carlist Civil Wars of Spain, and the 30 Years War for example. These would be smaller, tighter settings that would be a better candidate. And we need to know what the future roadmap is for Historical Titles coming down the line!

If the game launched with this map,people might've been willing to forgive the mid tier combat. Finally,it's happening and it's time for a full on historical title instead of a saga. Also hey Cyrus,I haven't been home for a few months till today,haven't seen you in a while but here we are,good video and keep up the work! let's make some Pharaoh content together soon.

I wonder what they are going to do for the facruon leaders for mycean greece, as we have no names of histoeical kings. Even the hitties in documents simply referred to them as king or great king of Ahhiyawa (Achaea)

I am amazed at the post launch changes Pharoah has received. Its so consumer friendly and unlike CA. No more immortal leaders, an actual bronze age world scope, and the reduced price. My biggest complaints all being answered. I think im going to have to buy this game now and show my support for this kind of action. Also thankfully they didnt go the warhammer route and combine the map with troy so i dont have to buy troy to have this campaign map.

1. I really hope that Elam would be a faction when the Mesopotamia update is out. 2. I hope that there will be a campaign that would take place during the time of the Battle of Kadesh in addition to the main one. 3. I respectfully disagree regarding the Mythos part.

The new DLC is great news. I don't agree about the mythos stuff though. Pharaoh is historical. If you want fantasy, go play War Hammer.

Respectfully, Adrian, but the gatekeeping is getting too much from a general quarter, not on you, but with others who I've debated with on forums and such, I don't want Warhammer I want a historical fantasy like Age of Mythology total war. We will never get an age of mythology total war if on the one hand, we keep doing this. Apart from WH, there's no new official fantasy mod, and the fantasy mods are either old but gold, but this idea that if we want fantasy go play warhammer, well I'd say then stop asking for an official LOTR tw, when you have great mods for LOTR. Of course, this is an opinion. Doesn't mean anyone has to agree with me on this. But Mythos WILL lengthen this game's life further. A separate Mythos completely different from the historical is fine.

The fantasy games seem to make CA a bit of money, so you may get your wish Medjay. Hopefully it won't impact on the historical game though.@@MedjayofFaiyum
well before this update there was no chance I buy it (and I am someone who owns every total war game since shogun 2), but now I am interested...
Im happy they are adding this content for the people who bought the game, but even on offer, i just cant bring myself to buy a game like pharaoh. Ive been waiting for an Empire 2, Shogun 3, Medieval 3, Three Kingdoms 2 (or some other time period in china) for a long time. The scope of all of those games are massive, i just cant get excited or hyped about a game thats limited to anatolia, egypt and greece in a time period thats not one of my favourites.

Well if you aren't buying the game, I would suggest you try for 2 hours with the M and G update. If it doesn't work, then refund it.
I agree with this bronze age idea add the Trojans factions the Greeks factions the Babylonians kingdom Persians empire Hebrew Isreal kingdom Indians tribe the kingdom of kush Kushite tribes in Sudan regions and nomadic tribes of suadi Arabic then the Roman's wave then that the bronze age chapter

Add the Bronze Age Indians. They need to be involved. Let's hope this and M and G update is so big that it adds a lot more than we anticipated
