This was a test to see how the format would do on the channel. It’s no secret I love history and would greatly enjoy teaching others about it an entertaining manner. I’ll go through the Pharaoh lords for sure and pool after to see what people want.

I was today years old when I found out Palpatine’s first name was Sheev. No wonder he was so angry. It’s something you’d expect on the side of a StarBucks cup.

It's incredible what information archeologists were able to find despite Bay having been stricken from ancient records. This was a fun watch. :D

How things were are even back then it was more or less impossible to fully remove someone from the records, all you need is a single mention of chancellor Bey/Bay in some discarded or otherwise lost letter that's found and then you can start looking at records of what is done and it's often the case that what reveals these is not what is said but what is not said. For example if it's traditional to mention the name of chancellor who sponsored a public work and suddenly you got inscription that goes out of its way to mention the chancellor by name and you know there was chancellor who lived at about this time and was removed from records you can assume he was responsible for that.

Does any of this remind anyone else of the story of Joseph? Guy from Canaan who manages to work his way up to Pharaoh in all but name? The dates don't work *at all* but it's easy to imagine some of the story motifs working their way into ancient proto-Israelite legends.

Rameses II ruled for 67 years (which was insane for the time period, and still one of the longest reigns to this day). After he died his 13th son, Merneptah got the throne. All the events of the game are triggered by the death of Merneptah after he got old. So, no chance of the already long dead Rameses II, although he will be mentioned a LOT

This getting the Pharaoh to have the hots for your sister to gain wealth and status was a total Abraham move. Only in Abraham's case he pretended to be his wife Sarah's brother, so that he could get her into the Pharaoh's bed and enjoy the perks of being close to Egyptian royalty. This worked until the Pharaoh discovered the ruse and kicked them both out of Egypt.

So, Bay had such an immense reputation that a complete erasure of his name from all reccords wasn't enouhg to erase him.
