@@yuwon1e not always. If the moon doesn’t cover 100% of the sun, then DO NOT look at the sun, but where I was, it did cover 100% (totality). It is such an awe inspiring experience. The next total eclipse is in Iceland, Spain, and North Africa. I totally recommend seeing it

We traveled to Omaha NE to see the totality of the one in 2017 and we're sitting in the path of one again. To see the 'diamond ring' is a once in a lifetime event so I hope everyone will get out and watch it.

I don’t think that many understand what this eclipse means and unfortunately many will not be prepared. Yes, this will be one of the most supernatural events that God is giving to mankind because of the great significance and importance. It was cloudy day yesterday to see it. But the clouds parted just about 5 to 10 seconds, the Sun shine while the Solar Eclipse, was happening. I saw it about 2 seconds. It was so awesome!!!!

The odds that the moon as positioned, would perfectly cover the sun without overlap or bleeding over of the sun is astronomical !

I was on the path of totality. The street lights came on, crickets were chirping and the roosters were crowing when it got dark. Bet they were confused lol.

We had a total eclipse. It was so amazing! When it got closer the temperature was cooler outside! As the sun was covered our street lights came on and a couple stars or planets appeared in the sky. A halo appeared around another body close to the sun. It was so cool. I was amazed how dark and quite it got. So happy. I was pleasantly surprised. by this total eclipse of the sun!🌖🌑

I went in my back yard put my glasses in and. BEHOLD IT WAS AMAZING IN TOTALITY videos and pics are ok but to see that happen in real time was breathtaking WOW I was completely amazed I wish everyone could have seen this.

Watched our partial eclipse here at the westernmost tip of Texas! Even though we had some cloud cover, the daylight dimmed as if we had had a very thick layer of storm clouds!!! Also all the bees that had been hovering around our blossoming bushes, left or hid in the bushes; don’t know, but dozens of them disappeared for a while and then came back when our partial eclipse was about half over. We experienced 80% coverage of sunlight! Wishing we could have had totality!!!👍

Today I'm going to watch itt with my mom

Wasn’t able to travel to a place of totality. Here at the westernmost tip of Texas we experienced 80-85% totality and had some clouds! However, the sky darkened as if we had had a thick, heavy layer of storm clouds, which we rarely have! The temperature cooled and it was surreal. Wishing I could have been in a place of totality! Well, maybe 20 years from now, if I’m still alive at 90, will I get a chance to experience totality, God willing. Lucky people that were able to travel and experience God’s wonders!!!❤️🌅

And even better it's 8 minutes the longest solar eclipse since in a long time

Appreciate a well exposed photo or video, as I'm a professional photographer and cinematographer for 47 years now. Too many images being posted, that are not professional taken? So not exposed properly, focus and depth of field issues etc. I live in Hawaii where I'm born and raised, and we were not getting it or anytclose to totality. Looked like, it was an amazing eclipse this time, especially if you were fortunate to have mostly clear skies and atmospheric clarity. The image here is awesome! Hope you caught it in a great place! I’ve seen a solar eclipse at my school today outside on a PE field. It was so much fun when I was looking at the sun and moon through my glasses, and it would’ve been better to fly up there like a bird and see it up close up in the sky ❤

I love how this has happened so many times throughout history but this one is special because it coincidentally goes through certain areas. When the world is still the same after the eclipse, maybe even years from now, I’ll think back to how this was just another one of those scare moments that leads to nothing. Think 2012 or y2k.

This will be my first solar eclipse , can’t miss this opportunity

I missed the 2017 Eclipse I was not gonna miss this. I don't live in the path of totality but I was fine with the partial Eclipse. It's one of the most unique days and moments I will never forget. The outside was dim and the temperature dropping turning a hot day into cool was amazing 🌕🌒🌘🌓🌗🌔🌖🌑. Great video 👍👍
