How Big is The Universe?

How Big is The Universe?
We begin at the familiar blue and green orb we call home and zoom out to explore the vastness of space. From the Moon, our closest cosmic neighbor, to the edges of the observable universe, prepare to be astonished by the sheer scale of everything that exists.
Travel with us as we venture past the Moon, understanding its distance in terms we can grasp. Witness the Sun, not just as a source of light, but as a milestone in the vastness of our solar system. We don't stop there; Mars, Neptune, and the outer reaches of our solar neighborhood await.
Discover the awe-inspiring distances to the Voyager 1 probe, the enigmatic Oort Cloud, and the neighboring star system of Alpha Centauri. As we sail through the Milky Way, understand our position in the grand scheme of things, where our entire history is just a whisper in the cosmic wind.
Our voyage takes us further, to the Local Group, Virgo Supercluster, and the staggering Laniakea Supercluster. We contemplate the Great Attractor's pull and our place in this immense heaven.
Confront the boundaries of the observable universe and ponder the mystery of what lies beyond. This video is not just a journey through space but a journey of perspective. Join us in marveling at the universe's grandeur and our humble place within it.

But the vastness of the universe doesn't change the fact that I have problem. The problem exists in a different universe, therefore irrelevant.

Rather, I was referring to the age of gnomes, which is also somewhat speculative and therefore likewise open to ambiguous semantic epistemological nitpickery in regard to the application of the correct nomenclature within the current lexicon _(du jour);_ since there have been no reports of any records discovered thus far stating exactly when the very first gnome was observed on anyone's lawn. Good question I have my own theory too. Infinite big! It is just room to fit stuff in. The universe is nothing else than a room, except it has no wall and goes on forever. It is about what is in space... stars, energy, galaxies with stars, planets, etc, and of course the 4 forces in the universe. Space does not expand, it is not a balloon. What is in space got away from what was in '' beginning'' when quantum matter got fluctuated to expand. By the way the first element what was produced was hydrogen and from that due to forces and energy all the other elements came out of it. In a nutshell

Guru Nanak Ji told us in Japji Sahib that there are millions of galaxies, and the universe is infinite in size. Science only realised we weren't the only galaxy in the early 20th century, and we are only now beginning to realise how enormous the universe is. It is truly amazing to know that this concept has been in Sikhi way before science.

And I'm beginning to believe the existence of God. I think the idea that everything has a beginning only exists in this material world. We thought that everything has a beginning because that's the law(science) that governs this material phenomena and we mere humans just play by the rules just as we feel emotions etc.. It's funny to see this. I'm a temp office worker, and to be honest, I'm too old to give much of a shit anymore. A couple of weeks back, I had a gig at a publisher for scientific magazines. My boss, from the very first moment, didn't like me. She didn't like my Pink Floyd T-shirt or the way I worked. But I got the job done, and they needed me. Still, it drove her crazy, and she would approach me every day with a very fake friendliness, saying, "You do a great job, despite your chaotic work style." I didn't react at first. As I said, I don't give a shit. But one day, I had it, and with a big smile, I told her, "Out of the chaos, stars are born." I could as well have told her to go f*ck herself, and she knew it. But times are good for Temps right now. Lots of work, and a personal shortage. So she gasped, turned around, and didn't annoy me again. 😂

Crazy to think that it’s ever growing as well, at whatever the speed radio travels. So, if aliens were to catch the leading edge of our radio bubble, they will be hearing things from the first radios in 1900, and would have to wait 60 years to hear the first space radio transmissions, and so on. It’s not like they’d have access to our full radio history all at once. Pretty insane to grasp

People say space-time is flat. Hard to understand that. But consider the Earth and how we used to think it was flat because we could only see a small part of it with our eyes. If the universe seems to be flat is it because we can only see a small proportion of it, meaning the real size is unimaginably massive. Mind-blowing :)

We can MEASURE it, and it is flat to within 1-in-400 today (meaning it was flat to within 1-in-10^62 at the Big Bang - so my money is that it IS flat, i.e. infinite).

Spacetime is not flat. When cosmologists say it’s flat they refer only to the 3 dimensional space section of the 4 dimensional spacetime. As a whole, the 4D spacetime has curvature (technically speaking: the Riemann curvature tensor of the FRW metric has non-zero components)

I love the expression “the observable universe.” Which means that all this space is accessible to the human conscience and mind. Which means that we are meant for something much greater than our little personal world. We are meant to be with God and to worship Him in all His glory. And His glory is well beyond the “observable universe.” How awesome is that?
