Court wasn't in session for the majority of the year and by the time they opened up again they had a backlog of cases to work through, it also didn't help that the victim herself decided not to press charges.

These people really tried their hardest to besmirch Megan's character, but they forgot that none of that accounts for who shot her. While I'm working through my disappointment in a portion of the black community for not supporting this black woman that was assaulted, I am grateful that justice has prevailed. Note to black women, when it comes to abuse, it seems you're safer with the justice system than you are with your "homies" and too many black men. Megan has hopefully learned a valuable lesson. I wanted to share an update on the case in question. According to the witness, it was Tory who displayed erratic behavior and was shooting towards Megan. Unfortunately, some of the online sources have been spreading incorrect information, so it is important to only trust reliable reports from credible journalists. It is a shame that cameras were not allowed in the courtroom as we saw in the Amber Heard trial. Bloggers have been pushing a false narrative. Hopefully the court transcripts will be released soon

I’m happy for Meg and wish her the best! She’s been through A LOT, two parents passing away to the unfortunate shooting that happened to her, I always believed Meg in the beginning up until I started watching KZread videos and started doubting meg that she was shot but I had to ask myself.. what does she gain from lying about getting shot? @@TheKira708 He hasn't been sentenced yet. His maximum is over 20 years but I doubt he'll get or serve the maximum. Sentences are waaay too long in the US but I do agree this was justice. It was assault with deadly weapon. That's not something that should go unpunished.
