Tory Lanez Found Guilty of Shooting Megan Thee Stallion | TMZ Live

Ойын-сауық

Tory Lanez is guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot back in 2020 ... a jury has decided.
The verdict came in Friday, just before the holiday -- where a group of L.A. jurors found the Canadian rapper guilty of all three charges against him -- felony negligent discharge of a firearm, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm.

The State brought the case against Tory. Sometimes we as black people got to take accountability for our actions. A fun night out turned into this. To be clear, the witness testified that he saw a single flash that was closest to Kelsey that he initially thought were fireworks. Never explicitly said he saw her with a gun. However, when asked which direction he believes she fired, he said into the car. There were no bullet holes or bullets found in the vehicle. Meanwhile, he was certain that he saw Tory firing a gun 4-5 times and when asked which direction he saw him fire, the witness stated 'everywhere.' Also, journalists that were in the courtroom and heard the audio of the gunshots have said that the gunfire was too rapid for there to have been a passing of the gun from Kelsey to Tory. The case really isn't that shady once you move past the awful coverage and misinformed commentary and get the facts straight.

There’s is only a 15% chance of DNA being on any gun unless there is a cut or blood on the hand. It’s always inconclusive. There were 2 men and 2 women DNA on the gun. Could have be anyone. Even the person who sold it. If Tory felt Kelsey did it, he should have taken the stand and said so.

This is what happens when people do bad things and there are consequences to your actions. My parents always say to me, you only can run for so long, eventually you will get caught. You can't get mad at anybody else, except for your son. This is what's wrong with people, they don't think about before doing the action. All they think about is revenge instead of the thinking about repercussions that goes behind it. Well he got what he deserved and I'm happy for Megan thee stallion and hopefully she comes back to her music. I'm not surprised or shocked, I knew eventually, he was going to be guilty until that day had come. I do know this, God doesn't like ugly. You could try to hide, Or you could try to lie, but eventually what's in the dark will come to light and it will shine bright.

End of the day, even if you throw out Meg’s testimony and Kelsey’s testimony, the gun was found hot in Tory’s seat. Tory is a man know for blowing the fuck up at bullshit provocation. This man decked August for not showing him respect and walking past him. He’s threatened a person for making a diss track. If the argument before hand was actually about his career, which he is notably violently defensive of, it’s not hard to imagine him assaulting yet another person for insulting it. If it was actually about his relationships, people get defensive about the way they are perceived as part of the dating pool, so a short tempered person can once again be easily seen as capable of assaulting someone over the argument.

I still do not understand why Tory’s driver, Jauquan Smith, did not testify. He showed up in court on 12/22, but he had not provided a witness statement. The prosecution asked for a continuance to prepare, but the defense did not agree to one because they did not want to delay the trial. It has been well over two years since the incident. How was it possible that an EYEWITNESS had not provided a statement? Was that not necessary at the crime scene? Why did Kelsey record her testimony in September of this year? What was everyone doing for the past two years? This trial was such a mess.
