Tory Hill (Crystal Adit) And Finding Titanite Crystals In The Dark
Finding Crystals in the dark at one of Ontario's most visited public access Crystal digging sites, Titanite Hill. A late fall rockhounding adventure with another well known KZreadr, a few fellow Rockhound's and a few dogs added in for some craziness.
Collect, rock hound, explore, dig and hike at your own risk and always seek land owner permission before collecting.

Wow that looks very lovely 💕💕💕💕💕💕👍👍👍👍
Some stunning crystals in that spot, you seem to have a good eye for picking the right spot to dig. 👍. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
Awesome finds.
Clean ‘er up! 🤠. Love the little one at the end there 🤩. Hey Miner 👋🏻
Sweet finds! Thanks for taking us along- I know how hard it is to video and collect.

Tory Hill always seems to give something good when I am there.
Awesome finds Jeff, I got to learn from you, you seem to be able to sniff out the hot spots for titanite lol. Anyways good luck and I hope you can sneak in some more trips before the 1st heavy snowfall.
Some great Titanites from that spot Jeff. That big piece looks interesting too! 👍

Glad you enjoyed it, more videos are on the way.
Nice stuff! I was there collecting last week and the owner of the cabin just east of Titanite Hill drove by on his ATV (with his rifle) and mentioned that the adit is on his property. He started complaining about how the rockhounds are trespassing blah, blah. Told him he should put up some tape or a sign to indicate where his property is but he seemed indifferent. Anyway just thought I'd let you know.

I know there is some Crown Land between the road and the lake, but it's very possible the Adit is on private property. There are no fences or markers of any kind to know where the property lines are. The Adit only goes in 20 feet, it's barely worth the effort of finding it.
Goodmorning Jeff , I finally made it up there a few weeks ago but the weather was bad and I still had to make my way to the cottage up in Wilberforce before night hit so I only found a few specimens , I'm unsure what it is that I found because I'm quite the rookie when it comes to mineral identification. I'd love to make it back up this season but I'm on a motorcycle and the season for riding is over for now . I enjoyed watching your excitement when you find crystals and hope that you experience that each time you venture into the hills .

@@OffTheBeatenPath1 I still have that nice piece of Flourite that I showed you and Mike a few years ago , I haven't found a nice piece since then but I keep looking in the area that I pulled my specimen from and I've found a few smaller pieces . 😉.
The weird titanite looked like it flowed around something that formed before it

The Titanites from the spot have a brownish color, different from the usual black ones at Titanite Hill.
Looks like someone put down some logs in the adit since I was there is 2017.
Jeff is the adit before or after the logging, coming from Gibsons? I had no idea there was an adit there
